This mission was fully completed, recorded and programmed but was cut from the game as it conflicted with the final mission. Because his speech is what flags the door to open at the beginning of the Nuclear Option mission it leaves you stuck in that room. However, with this mod you control the BoS, choose to spare or destroy the Railroad, you have access to Maxon’s private quarters, Maxon’s Power Armor, it gives you a means to get the Final Judgement Gatling laser and Maxon’s kickass coat.
Why the hell would the Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel go out into the Wasteland without any power armor and without a bigger escort besides just a vertiberd? That's just asking to be shot and killed on the spot.
Elder Maxson made valid points because the Institute was responsible for the kidnappings, murders and settlements being wiped out but Paladin Danse took a lot of risks, made many sacrifices and decisions that saved Brotherhood soldiers. This was one of the best parts of the game and people are complaining about speech checks. This situation made me remember why I put some points into charisma. It’s pretty realistic you’d need some high charisma to sway Maxon’s decision.
One good tip: Go do the whole Trinty Tower quest and get that suit that guy gives you, so far, it's the only suit with max charisma I've found, by max I mean 3 also it's called Reinalds Suit

Danse was a great character and was sorry to see him go when I found him already gone in the bunker before I arrived. 😔 Thank you for making this, its great to see what could've been.
Omg. There's a simple explanation for this. Danse is the human that the synth was copied from!! That's why the DNA matches!! If I could make a quest mod, that's the ending I would make.. 😥
Danse: You've got to kill me, there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it! And I'll go on about this as long as we need to! I've made my decision, and so has Elder Maxson! You: ok well maxson's wrong Danse: OMG you're right!! silly me 😳😳
That Really Wouldn’t Be Possible, Many Players Executed Danse Many Players Joined The Institute/Railroad/Minuteman Many Players Didn’t Execute Him. So Yeah, Also Theres No Danse In Fallout 76, Also Late.
I'm totally unboard with exterminating synths and the railroad (what a bunch of pricks for defending bots that were created to replace humans), But not Danse, everyone but him :( (And maybe the Fake Shaun at the end, i still save him).
Nier: Dead Gestalts go brrr. FYI, in the Nier series, everyone is a robot, and in the early games, the "monsters" that you fight are mutated human souls. In other words, you're wiping out the remnants of the old humanity. And it feels so good.
I had terrible charisma so I had to reload the save like 10 times until I finally did it and I wish that they didn't cut the choice out for Danse to become elder because I would much prefer Danse being elder than Maxson.
This game may get a lot a flack for not being good, but that voice acting for elder maxson is amazing. You can hear the real enthusiasm and devotion to his belief bringing this character alive. I also give credit to the animators taking the time for his movement. Sorry just wanted to share something good about fallout 4.
Honestly? I was shocked to find out about Paladin Dance , but if you think about it, in the beginning something was a little off with him ,. I remember when he stayed behind. I had no idea. I chose to save or spare him.
So I guess danse joined the brotherhood and they never gave him a physical? Until now? How could they not know he was a synthe for his entire military career??? or otherwise he was replaced by a synth at some point in his career in the brotherhood. And the details of that fact would be really pertinent and significant to the story and to the reality of the situation they dropped the entire concept. Because in order to fool the brotherhood they would have had to make a synth that was just as committed to the brotherhood as the original danse was which is tactically no better than having the original danse unless you're trying to make the point that a synth can be ethical which sounds exactly like something father would do. Except that it means killing the ethical man to replace it with the ethical synth in order to prove the point? Unless it was just a combat death and father was somehow being compassionate by trying to replace dance without getting attacked by the brotherhood itself? Convoluted
How come there's no option to turn it on Maxon that he was in cahoots with the Institute and Danse was his go between? It's like you can't accuse Mama Murphy of getting all her inside information because she was the woman who helped Kellogg kidnap Shaun.
How to convience Maxson 1. Invest in Charisma throughout the game Or 1. Obtain and equip a suit and a formal hat 2. Get drunk 3. Grape mentats are OP and broken, use them
My question is what would happen if you gear dense out after this conclusion, armored vault suit and heavy combat armor with MK VI X0 1 power armor and just mosey on up to the airport, will danse retaliate to the attacks? Maybe let the companion seek vengeance we think he deserves, on his own. I may have to try for myself
I never noticed before but... Danse sounds a lot like David Caruso. Guess Bethesda wanted Peter Jessop to emulate that sort of voice. As for this quest, this is why I abandoned the Brotherhood and finished with the Minutemen.
Why am i having an inner-fight with this. He was assigned to me. He didn’t choose that. If he were any other officer than I’d execute them. Why should I kill him just because we share a past? Even though Danse is close to me, that shouldn’t detract me from doing my duty. This is a hard decision, someone help.

That's the ending I aspired to have but didn't know how to go about it. This gives me so much peace watching this ending. Danse was a great character and was sorry to see him go when I found him already gone in the bunker before I arrived. 😔 Thank you for making this, its great to see what could've been.
Wait, he can die before you get to the bunker?
Wait? What?!!!
@@happycompy😳 😭
That has to be a glitch…
Steps
1. Spare Danse
2. Make Arthur listen to you
3. Tell him to leave him alone
There you go
If only it was that simple. I’m dreading this mission n I have NOT met Paladin yet. Thank goodness for Saves!
I killed all the Synths, until my eyes saw the beautiful Curie and asked me to kill paladin Danse .... so fuck the brotherhood
Ad victoriam, brother
Ad victoriam
Ad Victoriam
Ad victoriam
Ad Victoriam
Ad Victoriam
Omg. There's a simple explanation for this. Danse is the human that the synth was copied from!! That's why the DNA matches!! If I could make a quest mod, that's the ending I would make.. 😥
Paul Belanger 😍😍😍😍 dude so freaking awesome. Do it
Joseph Taylor sadly, I don't own Fallout 4. I'm also not capable of creating a mod. I'm just wishing I could...😥
but danse has a synth component in the actual game, so he really is the synth. but that would make a good mod.
...or that an actual Danse as well as Rhys and Haylen were captured and replaced by the Institute, and you can find and rescue them
But Father’s DNA is the basis of all synths
Danse: You've got to kill me, there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it! And I'll go on about this as long as we need to! I've made my decision, and so has Elder Maxson!
You: ok well maxson's wrong
Danse: OMG you're right!! silly me 😳😳
After I was forced to kill Danse, I literally went back to the Prydwen and slaughtered EVERYONE. It took a lot of stimpacks but it was so worth it
I saved before I murdered everyone so I could continue the storyline BUT I WAS STILL PISSED
it would be cool if danse was a mercenary in the next game like mcready
That Really Wouldn’t Be Possible,
Many Players Executed Danse
Many Players Joined The Institute/Railroad/Minuteman
Many Players Didn’t Execute Him.
So Yeah, Also Theres No Danse In Fallout 76,
Also Late.
@@justarandomguy.6365 76 is the prequel to all the fallout games dawg lol
@SAVAGE xLnDx
But Fallout 76 Takes Place In West Virginia.
@@justarandomguy.6365 no duh. It's a prequel. Prequel means before. 76 takes place before all the other games
I Know.
I killed him in my first play through thinking there was no other option…..
I swear maxon makes blowing up the prydwyn even more cathartic.
Killing him is saving him. Synths are machines, and dangerous ones at that
I'm totally unboard with exterminating synths and the railroad (what a bunch of pricks for defending bots that were created to replace humans),
But not Danse, everyone but him :(
(And maybe the Fake Shaun at the end, i still save him).
Nier: Dead Gestalts go brrr. FYI, in the Nier series, everyone is a robot, and in the early games, the "monsters" that you fight are mutated human souls. In other words, you're wiping out the remnants of the old humanity. And it feels so good.
Nick Valentine. That is my response.
It’s a good game, just too different to what people expect from a fallout game
Its a great game. Are you kidding me. The reception is overall good.
Its an Ok game but a bad Fallout game.
See this right here is why I consider charisma the best S.P.E.C.I.A.L
Thank you knight, for saving me.
The promote scene makes no sense if you save him. Hey we lost the "traitor" but you let him live so here have a promotion in his place.
i didnt like how Maxson dropped his values in this quest it didnt make sense
Because it's a cut content mod.
i can say the graphics have definitely improved a lot over the years
The voice actor for Proctor Quinlan sounds so familiar is it the same voice actor who played Alister in tomb raider Legend and underworld?
Maxon is so cold he doesn't even feel sad to have to kill Dance
Kazuhira Miller MILLER!!!!
Those textures.... You are probably some pc master race
gaby06nice This video was made after I had purchased my new video card yes.
Honestly? I was shocked to find out about Paladin Dance , but if you think about it, in the beginning something was a little off with him ,. I remember when he stayed behind. I had no idea. I chose to save or spare him.
Thank you guys for all the views, likes and comments! It is thanks to all of you that it is worth it to make videos.
They should have had an option where you warn Maxon not to have any Brotherhood members around any settlement you're aligned with.
“I Need to Be the Example, Not the Exception” 😢
Once again, speech/charisma proves to be the uncontested strongest skill in a fallout game.
I love how Danse literally risked his life for the Brotherhood multiple times yet Maxson still wants him dead cause he's a synth
How to convience Maxson
1. Invest in Charisma throughout the game
Or
1. Obtain and equip a suit and a formal hat
2. Get drunk
3. Grape mentats are OP and broken, use them
The biased developers definitely stacked the deck against BOS to a ridiculous extent
How many charisma points do you need to keep dance alive?
Once i had 9 points but i couldnt save him
I had to reload saves several times.
I only have 2 Charisma.
My question is what would happen if you gear dense out after this conclusion, armored vault suit and heavy combat armor with MK VI X0 1 power armor and just mosey on up to the airport, will danse retaliate to the attacks? Maybe let the companion seek vengeance we think he deserves, on his own. I may have to try for myself
it would be nice if you could offer haylen to join one of your settlements if u side with danse
Damn Maxson, that is a fine coat you are wearing there
*Quicksaves*
I never noticed before but... Danse sounds a lot like David Caruso. Guess Bethesda wanted Peter Jessop to emulate that sort of voice.
As for this quest, this is why I abandoned the Brotherhood and finished with the Minutemen.
I was wearing MM themed power armor during this scene 😂
14:55 bro really said story time💀💀
Maxson is such a douche I can't ever get thru the BoS quests. I just gotta kill all of them.
Can’t they use any info about Curie becoming a synth or the mind wipe the Railroad does to escaped synths? All that info could have been important
Miguel Angel Rangel Curie is waifu and should not be harmed
It's all about charisma it's the most important s.p.e.c.i.a.l perk
If Danse was voiced by the guy who voiced Buzzlightyear and Maxson voiced by the one who voiced Woody, it would be funny af
Maxson: YOU ARE A TOY
Danse: *escapes to listening post*
Why am i having an inner-fight with this. He was assigned to me. He didn’t choose that. If he were any other officer than I’d execute them. Why should I kill him just because we share a past? Even though Danse is close to me, that shouldn’t detract me from doing my duty. This is a hard decision, someone help.
Save Paladin Danse.
So I came back to the bunker and it won’t let me recruiter my character just says his name and he just stares at me in silence 😐
This video was recorded with my previous gpu, that's why the graphics look like crap;)
ButcherPete this is crap? This is extreme graphics for my laptop
He didnt know he was a synth? Did he not notice that he never got tired or never got hungry lol
JTundra Gen 3 Synth, tldr practically the same as a human
Redwood Fox You Serious
Synths get tired, they get hungry. They are basically synthetic humans. Hence the name; Synths.
I like how at the end of the day they all still think your an average person after seeing the godly power of a cheat terminal or just plan old carnage with a fat man/big boy
This is why I hate the Bos in fallout 4. There ready to betray there own soldiers just because there a synth and they also disgraced all of elder Lyons achievements
I wish I saved Danes but I didn’t know you could keep his armor too
That Bromance though!
