If you're in the Washington, DC, area this coming Monday, April 25th, 2022 I'm doing a free concert and masterclass! Info at www.levinemusic.org/event/harp-masterclass-and-concert-with-josh-layne/
Thank you Josh, your short videos on basic techniques are so valuable! And never as 'simple' as they look to do really correctly. You have such a gift for analysing movements in microscopic detail and then presenting an easy to manage practice tool that doesn't involve deciphering pages of written exercises. I've been at the harp for over four years now, and 'know' what I should be doing. But practically every time when I hit a wall in a piece, it boils down to a poor placement, or one finger is not returning to the palm. Even now my LH index finger loves to stay crooked up in the air, all ready to ruin the flow!
