I just watched this with my 10-year-old who is working to master Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Even though she was "done" with practice for the evening, she ran back to her harp to try your tricks! You're such a fun and dynamic teacher. Thank you!

I love your enthusiasm in teaching us how to play the harp! As favor, I loaned my harp to someone taking harp lessons until her teacher moved away. Now you inspired me to get back into playing again through your inspiration! I'm only a beginner but I'm very excited to get back into playing. I miss the soothing sound of the harp. Thank you, Chiara!

I also came across this video and could NOT stop laughing. I'm new at playing the harp. I only started February of 2023 and I needed this video. I can't play fast and my fingers do NOT cooperate. I'll be trying all these exercises. Thank you.

So as I see it, I need to muffle my scissors to find the true melody and place my fingers earlier while repeating the name of my favorite multi-syllable named composer! Aye! I've got it now! Hee-hee! Wonderful lesson Chiara! You have a bubbly charm which flows through your music! Delightful!

This was brilliant, thank you. I just started. oedal harp two months ago. Strangely, because I attended a master class given by Irina Zingg at the RCM in London. I wa just a member of the public, but decided I need to learn to play. I really think yiu are right about getting some speed into arpeggios early. Thank you, I am trying all yr tricks now to build power.

Tips that are 'out of the box' thinking for me. Muffling the strings and listening really changed my way of listening. I find the 2 and 3 finger practice surprisingly difficult. I'm incorporating these tips to play tripletts - something I thought would be easy. Nope. Thanks Chiara!

Whoooooooweeee! That is some fancy pluckin there! Howdy from Texas in the USA! I'd wager a hundred dollars you could pluck a chicken bare and smooth as a baby's butt in 10 seconds! If being a harpy doesn't work out for you, I can get you a job at Bubba Spurlock's Poultry Processing plant down the road. You'd have quite a career there, and I bet you'd be Head Plucker in no time. Of course, you'd have to come over from Itley and all. Holler at me when you're set.
