Wow! What a great explanation of harmonics. Thank you, Josh. I had no idea that if the levers were up or down it would make a difference where to place the left hand on the string. This is SO helpful!!!!
Lots of practice will help build good muscle memory and visual memory of where the harmonics are! Yes, you can certainly mark harmonics (though that mark will only apply for whatever position the pedal or lever is in when you made the mark) and if you're playing a piece with one or two really important harmonics you might choose to do so. I've always enjoyed the challenge (and adrenaline rush) of finding them so I've yet to mark anything :)
I've done a bunch of other videos looking at right and left hand harmonics - you can find them at www.harptuesday.com/category/harmonics/
Best explanation ever!
certainly found this very helpful even though i looked at your other videos in regards to harmonics 🙏

Hey, great to hear!
Thanks. My harmonics are finally getting more hit than miss!!
Yay! :)
Do you have any tips on finding the center of the string? I have heard that some put nail polish on the string
