@ronparel- well the thing with filipinos is even if you're talented but not that physically attractive or striking at best, then almost all of the time, your career fizzles (sad fact) . that's why even if charice is immensely talented as a singer, her level of popularity here in the philippines is remarkably lower than in the states.

I belive the timeline on this performance was, After Ellen, and before Oprah. FalseVoice had a version of this video that was not chopped off at the beginning but it was lost when his account was suspended. I admire Bituin's "Take no prisioners" demeanor, interpreting the song. and Frenchie Dy should revive all of Ethyl Merman's songs, she would be great. Even Pokwang got in on the act at the end.
@simplengurur1 I am a fan of both Regine and Charice. Having been watching Regine before Charice burst into scene, I thought I can tell the difference between the two. I prefer Charice's quality of voice. Her tone and her control are qualities that sets her apart from other singers.
I doubt kung kaya pa ni Charice kumanta ng ganito kataas ngayon. Ginagawa na niya kasing lalaki ang boses niya and bata pa sya dito kaya mataas pa. Pag umedad na sya gaya kay Regine at kaya niya pa ang ganitong version bilib na talaga ako.
