    Awesome vid man! This is very helpful 🔥 one question though, are the current freewell filters compatible with the wide and anamorphic lens?

    Do the ND filters interfere with the gimbal when the pocket is shut off?

      Hey,
      I wanted to share some insights on why filters for the Pocket 3 should not be too thin.
      A. Handling: The current size of Pocket 3 ND filters is already challenging to handle, especially for those with bigger hands. Making these filters thinner would make them even harder to grip and manage.
      B. Reflection Issues: In our testing with thinner versions of these filters, particularly the ND/PL type, we noticed unwanted reflections under white light. This is an issue that some other brands, who have opted for thinner filters.
      C. Gimbal Safety: DJI's own ND filters for the Pocket 3 are designed not to close completely. This is intentional to prevent potential damage to the gimbal. If the filter shifts, it could lock up the gimbal, risking permanent damage. Given DJI's ongoing firmware updates, it's often safer to adhere to their design considerations when creating compatible filters.
      D. Gimbal Movement: Even when the gimbal is locked or unlocked, the case provided by DJI allows for some movement. This indicates that DJI has taken these factors into account in their design.
      I hope these points help in understanding the design choices for the Pocket 3 filters.
      Any help you need please feel free to contact us on care@freewellgear.com.
      Thanks

    1.1x anamorphic filter for pocket3 unfortunately it’s much less than the previous filter, is it mainly for the blue streak? A different company will soon release 1.33x

      Hi there, Im not sure if the 1.33x is possible physicly. I also much prfere the Bokeh that comes out from the anamorphic lens.

      @FreewellGear 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey why would you want a bundle like that? ND is a must just to be clear you cannot use any of your other ND on this it's compatible only with the included ND.

      Are you guys aware of that?

    • @FreewellGear
      @FreewellGear 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@golgo13.54 When using an ND filter directly on the camera lens versus on an anamorphic or wide-angle lens, performance differences arise due to the optical complexity and unique field of view of these specialty lenses. Anamorphic and wide-angle lenses inherently have more complex optical structures. The broader field of view can also cause uneven light distribution, making exposure adjustments necessary. So there is nothing which is not in the acceptable range. This is quite normal even the lenses which cost $50,000 can have the same thing.
