🌟👉Scott singing in Korean was EXTRAORDINARY I think he captured all the nuances! Kirstie and Mitch harmonies were perfect. Kevin and Avi's nonstop foundation to the song was INCREDIBLE!!! They did AMAZING 🌟
There's a separate "Gangnam Style Bloopers" video almost as long as this where they are trying to film the outro and some of them get the giggles and they have to do many, many takes. I find it an early indication of why Avi eventually quit.
I have not seen this in a very long time. It was fun and silly to watch again. I think it's from 2012 - not long after they won the Sing Off when they were using You Tube to promote themselves. I also think there are bloopers of this recording and they kept laughing the messing up - oh to be early 20's again. .
This is from 2012 and they are obviously still filming on a shoestring. I suspect they only have the camera mic, so I agree with you about Scott not being as loud as he should be. There's a cover of Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" that came out a few weeks later with a similar setup and the balance is even worse.
Actually, Thrift Shop is one of my favorite videos they have ever done. That staccato harmony on the rap portion is beyond amazing. Thanks for reminding me. Hope he will react to that one, too.
Thanks for the great reaction! This was a video they put on YT right after winning The Sing Off and being dropped by their record label. You mentioned the mix - this was recorded on one of their iPhones! No mix, no production at all. Scott, Mitch & Kirstie were about 20 years old, and had been singing together since they were kids. Yes, that was Avi doing that "synth" sound. It is called overtone singing, and he is singing a bass note and the higher tone at the same time! There are a quite a few examples of this in various videos. Here's a link to him doing it onstage at one of their early concerts (check out the # of views): th-cam.com/video/2i61_JNc_Nc/w-d-xo.html There is a really funny video of them trying to do the serious close to this video - took many tries! Here's a link to that: th-cam.com/video/1wqnJslSv04/w-d-xo.html
@@A-AronReacts To answer your question, unless you've got it hidden on your channel where a search won't find it, you only saw the FINAL outro version - not the many, MANY versions that came before it, which you can see in the Gangnam Style bloopers video. th-cam.com/video/1wqnJslSv04/w-d-xo.html
Hi Aaron. I just wanted to let you know that I also don't really care for this cover that the group did. I am a Pentatonix. I absolutely love almost everything they do. But this one is not my favorite. Which is okay. Not everyone will like the same things. There are other songs I don't personally care for. I actually love the long outtake video of the bloopers (mostly Scott) that occurred while filming a "watch out new video" trailer. No singing but lots of laughs. Thanks for keeping it real & honest. 💚💚💚

Thanks for the reaction. Have not seen this whole video before
Avi is amazing with his ability to sing overtone.

Ah thanks

@@rlhcat7662 I love the "Thrift Shop" cover too. I just wish Scott was a little louder so I could hear him better.

Honest reactions are appreciated. Recommend their cover of Mad World.
Please check out the bloopers for this. It is hilarious.
I believe I reacted to them, no?
