If I’m correct I think that’s the same Zune Peter risked his life for when escaping High Evolutionary’s exploding ship, which he then later gifted to Rocket with the note telling him he went back to get it for him.

Just a theory; what if Lyla's line when she tells Rocket it's been his story all along was also meant to say it was James Gunn's story all along? There were directors that told Marvel no to directing GOTG 3 because it was James Gunn's movie. So maybe Rocket passing on only to return back is supposed to symbolize James Gunn continuing to work passionately while saying goodbye to his past with Marvel? But there was one comment Mantis said got me confused since I don't think it went anywhere. Mantis called Drax dumb and then made him forget her comment during the argument between Drax, Nebula, and Mantis.
I finally got around to seeing this movie and the subsequent breakdowns, so it was a really nice surprise to hear MT here. He’s my favorite person that was on New Rockstars, letting this monstrous level of talent go is a bad move for them. Follow you wherever I find ya, MT!
