It's hard to beat a CZ 75 series pistol. They just shoot very, very well, and in most cases, better than the shooter can, which makes it a great pistol all 'round.
I've been carrying this pistol for just over 2 years, now and I honestly don't see myself carrying anything else, now. First round, out of the holster with no warmup, double action, always goes through the bullseye, no matter how rusty I may be from not shooting enough. I do have tritium night sights on it, and a stainless steel guide rod. But I'm happy with it stock, even the stock rubber grips are just fine to me.
The CZ 75 P01 is alloy framed and also NATO Approved! Check into what it takes to get NATO approved!! Most reliable gun on the market!! I have two of them and carry one every day. Best ergonomics of any pistol!! End of story!! Very little recoil due to slide inside the frame. Sweetest shooting handgun I have ever shot!! Right out of the box they are awesome!!
I agree with you about the gun not being as accurate as full size but for 95 percent of shooters they would not be able to determine the difference for themselves. I love the P01, excellent for appendix carry and one of the most reliable pistols made. Passed the NATO test for 50,000 rounds. One of the best “ feel” handguns on market. Have never met anyone who has ever picked mine up and shot it say anything else.

I sold all of my striker fire pistol, except one. I now carry and shoot DA/SA pistols, and 1911’s. The Beretta PX4 Storm Compact Carry would be the closest of my pistols to the CZ 75 Compact. Thanks for the video!
I've had my P-01 for about a year now and have shot about 2500 rounds through it without one hiccup. The gun is extremely accurate however I did have the same issue going left when I first bought it. I think it was me because I also shoot a 1911 which is much different. After some experience with it I don't go left anymore. If you can find one buy it, you won't regret it.

This is a great video. I own the P01 and it came with a test target from the factory. My gun shot 5 rounds in a 1.5" group from 25 meters (27 yards) I own also the full sized steel CZ75B and it's great. Smaller guns are just harder for us to aim, as he mentioned the sight radius has an effect.
Revisiting this since I just ordered my first CZ P01 decocker model. They have been out of stock in my area and they can’t keep them on the shelf. Thanks for this quality video. Hope your having a great weekend.

I'm so lucky I live near an awesome little outdoor range. Hardly anyone uses it too, it's strange. But there's no range officers to get on your case if you're shooting "too fast" or some bullshit.
This is the most helpful video that I've seen on this pistol. What I've been looking for is the decocker feature. I'm not used to these double action single action handguns, I've always shot revolvers in 1911's. Thank you for uploading this, and I wish that old Dodge didn't get shot up LOL

I had never even heard of cz at the time but my buddy came over with a 2 tone cz75b like 10yrs ago and i fell in live with the look of it. He sold it to me a year later and it became my favorite handgun. I then had my heart set on a p01 ever since then. Just picked one up last weekend and i love it. Just ordered some sexy grips and nightsights for it. Love these cz guns
Awesome shooter. This was the 1st CZ, since this one I have added a 97B, SP01 Phantom, P10S and a TSO. Oh........ I also added a Dan Wesson TCP. If you shoot a CZ, get ready to buy MANY. They are very addictive
I like mixup's videos. I have this gun and I like it a lot. The stock springs are heavy, lots of guys swap them out. I put in a 16# main spring, I wouldn't go lower but some do.
I love how you let that hammer down old-school 1911 style at the beginning😄 I understand decockers have a function and a lot of people like them, but I(like you probably did as well)grew up handling 1911's and going from single-action to hammer down via trigger&thumb is kind of 2nd nature😋 Good review, I shot a buddies as well and they are nice solid accurate little guns that seemed like they should cost WAY more than they do...
I carry a CZ PCR every day. My all time favorite pistol. Just a P-01 without the rail so it has the more classic look and carries a bit better because of the flat mag plates unlike the P-01 that has the lip on the mags. I also vastly prefer the rear sight on the PCR.
Excellent shooting review of a world class pistol. I have never seen a cz75 in my part of Wisconsin. Saw a canik55 manufactured c100 lightweight compact and bought it on the spot. Forged slide, cold hammer forged barrel, alumnium/alloy frame, and all parts are "black chromed" iaw NATO specs even under the chrome cerakote--what's not to like!! My pistol has a real manual safety and has a mag capability of 15 rds; otherwise, it is almost identical to the cz p01--lol. Still like the old time Captain Video fade in..
I’ve been carrying a p320c or a Glock 32 for a little while now. But I’ve picked up 2 CZs in the last year(shadow 2 and surplus cz83) and I think I’m in love. Seriously considering making this pistol my carry gun if I can find one to try.
Great gun, love it. I’ve changed out the sights on mine cause they were a little too small for me to pick up - but that’s about the only thing. Btw there’s also a PO1 Omega version (better sights and omega trigger right out of the box) grtz from the NLD Europe!

Just took mine to the range for the second time. Been shooting an M9 for years. But this thing? Its a different animal. Of course its smaller. But it feels like it was molded in my hand. There's some take up, but the trigger is easy to get used to, and I like the trigger better than any other pistol i have shot. Well, other than a 1911. I lubed it out of the box and started shooting. Almost 400 rds now and not a burp. I could not be more happy with this gun. Oh, did I forget to say that its been 100% reliable?

Probably my favorite handgun that I own. The grip feels superb and it's crazy reliable.
The hills in the background give it the sound like an old west movie. Always thought that was a Hollywood sound trick.

I have a CZ 75 Compact that I bought new in 2018 and love it. Might be my all time favorite pistol I own. Hard to beat a nice CZ Pistol.

The Omega version has the decock, but it also comes with a safety. You can switch to which ever one you prefer. There are several videos demonstrating
