This video was amazing! I'm a self-taught mechanical engineer and this stuff I've struggled with as I don't have anyone at my small company to teach me these industrial standards. Thanks so much! I hope you end up continuing this series in the future! If you do, a video just outlining those sketch sheets and what each part needs and why it's important would be super helpful.

You’re extremely talented. I hope to also be self taught as an engineer some day

Thanks man! I'm doing an internship that was supposed to be for a mechanical engineer (I'm a metallurgical engineer) and this is really helpful. I just saw like 5 other of your videos. Keep it going!

@@thoughtbombdesign Yeah I'm doing a bunch of SolidWorks tutorials and courses about mechanical planes and geometrical tolerances.
It will be really cool if can make some videos about it.
BTW I saw you in the SolidWorks reddit forum.
      Greetings!

Can you work for the company I work at? I’m a sheet metal fabricator and our Mechanical Engineers can’t make a good drawing to save their lives

Haha, unfortunately it's more common than you think. It's really just a matter of thinking through the design instead if just cranking out a drawing to check a box.... Good luck!
