My 2003 es 300 has 250,000 miles and its still killing it. Most comfortable car and most reliable car you will ever buy

Facts
My 2003 ES 300 has 56K miles. Only thing I have had to replace is the timing belt and the front brake pads. Fantastic car. I'm going to upgrade to the IS next year just because I feel ready for a change. Since the bluebook is so low, I figure I will just donate it to a Veterans organization.
its a Lexus, it doesn't use fake wood.

My03Tundra it was a joke, may have fake wood but thats on the worst lexus in my opinion, the es. they use real wood on all their cars now
My03Tundra pretty sure all the wood is real Yamaha provide the super polished wood veneer and it's adhered to a plastic backing that clips into the interior placeholders.

Neighbor lady was 2nd female owner of a 2000 ES300, ran like crap, sensor issues, idled rough, 186,000. They were moving, needed $, I got it for $1200. Replaced M.A.S. & went from 9 codes to 2. Replaced Cyl 6 coil................smooth as glass. I am 53, shocked at how well this thing rides. I was going to flip it for a couple grand, I think I will keep it, cheap transportation. She had replaced brakes & struts all around, damn it's smooth, and a good alternative to a reg cab 4x4 tacoma lol.
This is a luxurious a to b car. I hate exciting cars. I like cars that don't break down. I like cars that get good gas mileage. I like cars that don't get the cops pulling you over. But I'm not 16 years old.
They'll be singing your turne once they realize how expensive their exciting cars can get. I'm surprised how cheap the insurance on my ES300 was. Maintenance is also not as bad.
Germans are always talking about German engineering when in reality their cars age like milk with a early experation date..Japanese cars age like fine wine (proven) they get better with age. Bmws,Benz,audis are like paper plates they are disposable!!!

How many miles were on it when you bought it? I see a 2003 for sale locally with 80k miles which seems pretty low for its age.
@@SMBDK it had 178 thousand miles and it drove as if it was right off the lot. wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country
These cars give off such a good vibe and look pretty cool on the road. Not to mention made i. Japan this is when the quality control was at its highest

Bought one of these a couple weeks ago as a daily. Literally more comfortable than any of the newer cars I have owned! I've owned Audi's BMW's mercedes and this lexus beats them all and it 10+ years older!

I have a 2005 Lexus ES330 and it currently has 238k on it. Drives like a dream and have only done regular maintenance to it! Very reliable car but not for a starting out teenager, due to a semi-fast V6 engine. Great car overall, I recommend to anyone looking for something reliable and clean.

Saad Ahmed It’s got almost 178,000 on it now. It’s been in 2 wrecks (neither were my fault haha) and it’s still poking along. I’ve had trouble with the A/C, U-joints, struts, and the speakers don’t really work anymore. It was a nice car, but I’m looking for something better, now that I’ve got more to spend. It was originally $8,888.91 out the door at the dealership in 2016.
This is the best car I ever own .Fun and comfortable to drive
my pops has an 05 330 and I have a 03 300 i like sitting in mine too. Its 21 years old now and looks as good as ever in the interior

The Canadian TV show Canada’s Worst Driver actually used an ES - a fourth-gen XV30 like this one - for the water tank challenge in Season 14. It looked like it was a 2001-2003 pre-facelift model under all that foam.

If that car has 60k miles and is only 7000 bucks I will take 3! That is a bargain. My friend is a used car salesman at Lexus on Atlanta and he sells these cars all day long for 7-8000 with 130k to 186k. I say 186k because that is how many my 2004 sport design has and it was $7100
Joes Golden Garage my 2006 ES330 same body style with every option was $5,000 and it had 182,000 miles. Now I have 230,000 on it

I have a 2004 es330 with 73,000 miles it’s amazing to drive and I plan to keep it for years to come
I have had mine from new....2004....just oil changes....tires....brakes....and a new timing chain assembly.....battery.....thats it ..in 15 years......its so comfy....and fun to take on long trips.....i will just put it in my will and pass the joy to one of my kids......i will be buying another one soon....maybe a 2005 or 2006.....lol

I have both I have a 2006 ES330 just the face lifted fully loaded version of this one. I also have a 2008 LS460 burgundy metallic it is beautiful. V8 so smooth in the LS.

Eyacub12 skits I bought one in great condition and low km's for only $4500 in Halifax, but the family was moving to Calgary and already had money so they just wanted to get rid of it and I got lucky. I have friends with Audi's and Beamers, but I wouldn't trade my Lexus for even that.

I originally wanted the IS300 for the paddle shift and drifting capability, but the ES300 was better for winter driving and I travel a lot so my sports model Lexus will have to wait. Both are great cars for their own reasons, though.

LMAO. Have you ever sat in one of these ES300's? The interior looks better than most new $50k cars. The 2007-2009 ES300 interior was a downgrade in material quality.
