That's amazing! Well done. BTW that medal is from The Northern Publishing Office (NPO) 42,44 Ann Street. Long gone now. How it got there is anyone's guess!
Great days hunting thanks for answering my question on your last vid about the scoop and I’ll be changing my thumb screws as well keep up the great work /vids
That's what you call a pocket full of change!! It's nice to see them resurface again,,and for the old harpic doing it's job. What a cracking day! All the best,,GL...HH,,,Stay safe.........George
Aaahhh still the 2p king😂😂. Them pre decimal silvers are absolutely beautiful. Well done , about time you had some luck. Gotta get back and find the rest !!. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe 🇬🇧
Wow. Doesn't get much better than that. Had a few terrible trips to the beach at the end of last year and gave up. Getting warmer though and you've definitely put the thought back there Aaron. Can't get to my private permission so may take a trip there soon. Detector only good on certain stretches and was jam-packed with lockdown hysteria. Parking spots few and people everywhere, whatever the weather. Only thing missing was sunshine and ice cream vans. Crazy. Any other time, it would've been deserted.
I'd be back down every day. Had similar in Devon where a sand dune had been washed away. The beach was fully loaded with old coins. Never experienced anything like it again though. That Nox is going to be difficult to return. They are killers on the beach.
Great day at the beach Arron on that patch there's got to be some gold there. I had a patch like that the other day loads of coins a few pre decimals and an 18ct gold ring so get back and dig every signal above and below the coin patch for the rings
Great stuff ! Truly, the beach works in mysterious ways its wonders to perform. Makes up for all those bits of lead, ring pulls, broken hinges, zips and 18" deep cans.
great video aaron and those fine must have felt like you won the lottery mate cracking jut keep them out the christmas pudding lol love watching your video and the pure excitment in you voice great job
@@SouthCoastDetecting no mate. It was dark by the time I got home and I've not been detecting in 30 years...after watching you today i may have a venture out later this week give it a go.
Blimey O’reilly Arron mate, 😎 what a day!!! That was a truly unbelievable hunt pal!! Congrats x6!!! Rejoice in the silver coins more like!! 🤣 Thanks for sharing. TC, GL&HH. 😃👍🏻
Hope your haveing a top weekend top video brother sorry noybeen about hope all the family are well top video and if your out on the weekend good luck 👍 tyson
Cracking day there mate you read the beach well, goes to show how just how much of a difference even half a foot of stripped away sand makes. Thanks for sharing and congrats on those silvers:)
Another great hunt and plenty of pre decimals and silvers. Kind of apt you released the video today 15th of February as today is the 50th anniversary of the UK currency going decimal. All the best 😄🏴
Wow what a day you had, I bet you didn’t want to leave. Brilliant video. Could you tell me how to get one of your stickers please to add to my small collection 😊 Thank you stay safe 🌈👍
Amazing hunt! Great little hotspot you found there. Good to see pre decimals on the beach. I haven't been on beach for 3 years I'llI'll have to get back when this covid is sorted, all i used to find was modern dependables and tons of aluminium! Stay safe and happy hunting!
Great video Arron 🤙 I have to dig those 11-13 all the time if I want to find a good nickel on my Vanquish 540. I end up digging half a pouch of junk, but that’s the sport of it haha
That was worth watching. what a day...Massive find in same spot. who would of thought? I enjoy your videos because you edit out the blather. Also good to see the weather there.
Aaron what a hunt s6 silvers well done lots of the oldies all ways good when u find that hot spot not quite same as strike it lucky. As a simplex user would u say the simplex would of found them too as i see ash (SS) is digging deep holes on the beach
Well done Arron . Just to let you know that 1918 was the last year of 925 Silver coinage and 1946 is the last year of Silver in circulation . Other than Maundy money or collectors coins.
Hi there my old treasure hunter….I know this video is some two years old now, but just looking at your little medallion find struck a chord…as soon as you said “Belfast” I looked a bit closer I believe it says NPO, 44 Ann street Belfast, that would stand for “Northern publishing office”…my sister used to work there way back in the early 70’s. Although I don’t have a detector as yet I am …fingers crossed hoping my dear wife buys me one for my birthday in May…😁
After I got home I thought I’d leave it for somebody else to experience the buzz I got from this hunt. I’m sure there’ll be more days like this if I’m lucky 👍
Really good example of what I call a "beach swarm". Had a number of these myself. Beaches are really dynamic environments and you don't appreciate how much they move unless you check everyday. Mine varies by up to 2ft without problem and a lot more in other weather. It's not so much as when they are stripped out but checking the material in the sand. This is classic here, small pebbles with sand - the stones will weigh around the same as the coins and are deposited in the same area. It's a good guide when beach hunting anytime. Saying that, I had a great swarm high on my beech of Victorian to George coins under soft new sand. Again, it was a small pebble deposit under this and had collected off the end of an old wooden ramp. In the winter, the sand would not have been there - just air. The gifts of time and tide, right place, right time. Great to see one on camera :-)
Agreed. I've had many days like this, 100+ coins in a day. After tracked vehicles moved the sand and rocks about to enable new sea defences every day was 70+ coins, had 3 silver of William 3rd (1690s) honestly, Georgian coppers, more silver of William 4th (1830s) and Vicky silver quite usual. every time. Not mentioning the gold rings with hallmarks back to 1850s, one in particular absolutely fantastic. All this completely true. Loads more I could say. Wait for the next storm, study beach, persevere. Well done on the haul and especially the silver, the rings will come.
Wow! what a superb haul, well done Aaron, hoping to get out to the beach myself sometime soon, currently being battered by the next phase of storms here in Cornwall. So should be a good deal churned up, with any luck.
Bloody hell you owned that machine and beac, without any doubt that’s the best hunt Iv seen from any one on a beach and very few people come away with 6 silvers on land or a beach. Cracking vid and a day to remember👍
