Not gonna lie, I’m gutted how Doomsday Blue was completely overlooked in the musical categories.

You want incredible vocal control? Bambie Thug! Seriously, that witch had truly amazing vocal control. Plus, performing ballet, while still hitting notes properly. Vocal coaches have broken down how incredibly hard it was for Bambie to hold those positions and deliver those notes. Clearly, standing still and yelling is more impressive than doing a technically difficult dance move while singing. And where the hell was Isaak? Those vocals were incredible and carried the extremely weak song. Anyway, thanks for your comment Oscar, knowing ahead that Bambie will be completely overlooked means I don't have to continue watching this appallingly biased video (Balkan guy voting for a lot of Balkan songs, what a surprise). Thumbs down!

Regarding dance, for me they were easily the best dancer, the body and voice control to hold attitude derrière while singing without the singing being affected at all. Also their feet were so nice, all the movements were sharp and precise. Their classical training really showed. Easily the best dancer.

I think this perfectly represents the difference in what northern/western Europe(Gabe) and southern/eastern Europe(Amer) pay attention to and vote for. Not always the case I know, but still

Highly enjoyable video. I must say I don't agree with some of the winners, but overall my winners are not far off.
Since this Eurovision, I developed some sort of a weak spot for Jaklin of Ladaniva. She enchanted me with her smile, and her stunning beauty and vocals.
Maybe there will be a nominee for most beautul artist in the next video (?) and if so, she is by no doubt my winner this year.
It might be a category in the next one 👀

On a more serious note, I'm surprised you both didnt mention Wild West for National Final songs given the fact that many believed it was a potential winner for the whole contest.
@@clawtooth35 Without wanting to diminish the song and it's potential (the staging was so good!), I think a lot of people were only expecting Bashar to do well because of politics. It's a great song that ticks all of my boxes and would've been in my top ten, and imo also the overall top ten. It definitely should've won the NF and maybe been mentioned in this video because of that robbery. But it's not really a winning song.

Exactly, those are my favourites as well. But Overthinking Eurovision deserves a mention too, the amount of research they do for their videos is stunning, and the videos they made about Greece and The Netherlands/UK were the best of the season in my opinion.
