Dumb move to get back on the bike with possible spinal injury. Did you see his neck and head violently move in that crash without a neck brace. I hope he's ok and the numbness on the lower half of his body goes away. A crash like that could easy put you in a wheelchair for life even if you are mentally tuff.

The "chunk out of his leg" doesn't make sense. If he had a chunck from his leg taken out, there would be some bleeding. They could have addressed the bleeding to get him ready for moto 2, but how did he finish moto 1 without bleeding. I don't understand that part.

A chunk doesn’t mean it’s straight out of his leg. Think of it as a deep hangnail, it’s technically a chunk out of your finger but it can pull back and it goes back where it should be but it isn’t exactly fully detached. Reason for me to believe that he ripped a part of his leg open but it was still hanging on by skin. Guessing he got stitches
yeah I mean they pegs are extremely sharp but they would poke and tear not cut something clean off

There was no update here!!! At the end of Jett’s post race interview he gave a feeble thumbs up and looked to be about to cry. I suspect he’s more injured than he let on, and likely to miss a few weeks as well as be out of championship contention.
Being that the team manager was interviewed a day after that. And that’s what this is referencing okay then

JETT is a great kid..his leg will heal in a week...he's got heart he wasn't going to complain about missing a chunk of his leg....he knows MX... This kind of crap is common... No big deal.. guaranteed you he learned something from it not to break your concentration for even a millisecond... This experience will make him even better
