I've been looking for a beginner friendly scarf pattern and came across this over my lunch hour today. It was so easy to follow! I can't wait to start this when I get home!
I am a semi beginner, ready to take the next step crocheting this scarf. I love your video . The instructions are clear, and the camera angle is wonderful. I can see everything your doing... Thanks again...
I'm also a beginner and I was wondering if your scarfs rows progressively get smaller or shorter. If they did or do how did you fix it?
@mylifeasgrace5597 if your rows are getting shorter, you may be missing the chain 3 at the end. Try using stitch markers to help keep track.
I just finished making this scarf for one of my work kid who goes to App State NC using the school color black and golden yellow. It’s really pretty. Thank you for all your tutorials.
That's so sweet of you!:-)
Thank you so much. I have worked all winter to make this pattern. It felt intimidating at first, but thanks to your step by step guidance and clear instructions, I got the hang of it after a while. Take lots of love from Bangladesh.

Love this can’t wait to make some
Beautiful Scarf, Love the pattern.
Beautiful Stitch ❤️ would you consider putting time stamps for us that can’t read a pattern like myself 😃
Lovely pattern
This was way too fast for me, I’m so glad it worked for others though.
I love this and the hat ! Next on my list! Love the color too! 😄
This is a lovely pattern. Thank you for the tutorial. As a beginner, it would have been so helpful to see the last post of the row, so I know I'm ending correctly. Someone posted the end stitches, but I'm not getting that. I'm getting 2 FP at the end of row 3. Can anyone who may have crocheted this, let me know the end stitches. Thanks!
sigh.... struggling with that back post stitch. You make it look so easy. I have Princess Fiona hands . I shall keep striving.
Very beautiful 👌👌👌💐💐💐💐
Thank you :)
Lovely pattern. Do you also have a tutorial on how to make a hat using this pattern? I would love to give my daughter a set of the scarf and hat.
Hi! On row 2, should I end with 26 stitches total (inc chain 3 in the beginning) or 27? I don’t see the final stitch if it is supposed to be 27 so I have to try again
I had the same question. Since you skip the first chain when doing row one, it should be 26. But I’ve already crochet about 12 inches and I’m having my doubts because my ends aren’t even/looking good at all due to having one extra odd stitch at the end where I need to just end it with a regular double crochet. Something is wrong/unclear with this pattern or with the way I’ve understood it.
Hi Sarah. Love your tutorials. Great patterns and love your voice.
Can this be turned into an infinity scarf?
My son prefers those to ones with a fringe
I love this scarf 🧣 I really like the pattern. How do I purchase a pattern? ❤
Hello dear lady!
I need your help on this;
I want to make this scarf with two colors going vertically like candy cane. Do you think it is possible? If I do backposts in one color and switch color for frontposts can I get the look I want?
Thank you for gorgeous patterns!
I did it! It ended up exactly like I wanted 😊 it was confusing to decide which colour I use to start with a new row but after 6 row pattern began to shape and made it obvious!
Tnq very much for the tutorial ,mine came out fine. Is it possible to use 2colors in this pattern? I tried it with a cowl but wasn't looking ok, I want those slanting stripes like the one with solid color.
I love this pattern! I'm self taught an have been ignoring the Guage stuff ... though I thought I'd try to learn. In your gauge for this you say to use raised double crochet stitches. Is that the same as the front an back post dbl crochet?
Hi, at the end of row 1st row 6(11.44min) you mentioned too chain one, but in the video you actually chained 3. Please confirm whether it should be one or 3. Thanks.
The video shows Row 4 ends in one bpdc before the dc in the chain three and Row 6 ends in one fpdc before the dc in the chain three. This is not clear in the video and the written pattern does not include these steps at all. Please clarify. Thank you.
As it states in the written instructions, row 4 you will repeat “fpdc in each of the next 2 sts, bpdc in each of the next 2 sts” all the way across which ends with the bpdc before the dc. And as in row six says you will end with the fpdc before the dc.
Thank you, I had the same question. I think it threw me cause you are only doing one, but it makes sense. But, In row 3, you end with 2 fpdc, correct? I did 19 chains to adjust the width.
row 3: two back post p
row 4: one back then two front p
row 5: two front post p
row 6: one front then two back p
Hi, love your videos. Is it better to work this scarf in solid color or can it be done in a variegated yarn? I love the texture but don't want to lose it by using variegated yarn.
Is wood hooks easier than metal or is what you prefer using
Hi I was just wondering when you begin row 2 you’re crocheting into the back of the starting chain? (I’m very new at crocheting 😅)
About how many rows should there be?
was that 27 chains than added 3? it looked like you did..TY
she only did 27 in total
What is the number of the pole used in this video please?
I don´t know where are my knots on row 3 :,)
Can anyone explain to me how the multiplying works?
What does it mean to multiple by 4 stitches plus 3 chains?
For your foundation chain you will start by chaining and multiple of 4 (4, 8, 12, 16…) and then once your chain is the desired size, add 3 more chains to the end :)
@@RichTexturesCrochet oooohhh thank you thank you im really grateful for your help. You know im making this scarf specifically for my boyfriend before he heads to university and was feeling kinda confused on how im going to do this but i feel much more confident right now
Thank you dear ❤
Please make it slowly and clearly...your thumb cover the stiches all the time. It's hard to follow :(
I swear I’m going mental. I just keep ending up with straight posts. I’m not sure if I’m not understanding the sequence or what?? They just don’t seem to follow the same lean.
Check your foundation chain count. Be sure you are not skipping stitches when you crocheting the pattern.
@@cerendurmus8517 thank you! I ended up figuring out what I was doing wrong.
This was extremely difficult to follow. Not very happy with the end results. You shouldn’t gone much slower.
Poo
Too complicated!
2 questions…
1. Would this look good with color change?
2 can the beginning chain 3 be replaced with a modified chain 3? …to fill that gap created by a chain 3
Yes and yes :)
