This guy is well-known here in Norway. I read somewhere that Rinnan was so sadistic at times, that even the local Nazis though it was too much. There were no problems finding volunteers for the execution squad.

Thank you for your wonderful work and videos. My grandfather was Belgian, in Lyon, and was part of the Reims network, which later became Coty, the largest national network. He was a Second Lieutenant in the French Combatant Forces. His network rescued Belgian Jews and 350 English pilots (on Lysander), who were being transported to the Spanish border. We could put 12 people in a secret compartment of a locomotive. The Belgians had bought a sawmill in the Pyrenees whose 15 km cable passed over the border. Unfortunately, my grandfather was denounced to the Gestapo, tortured by Klaus Barbie's team (office 88), but did not speak. Then he died in Dachau, after a death march. He had already done 14-18!. Again thanks to you.

How about you produce names AI BOT. YOUR CLAIM IS BOGUS!!! 1. There were only two French Combat Forces during WW2 THE FREE FRENCH FORCES AND VICHY FRENCH FORCES.
Andrée Peel, who was known as "Agent Rose," was the leader of the French Underground resistance for 3 years until Gestapo arrested her and survived the camps. Living to 103. Those who assisted in other areas of France were NEVER called French Combatant Forces---they were called Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur (FFI) The Resistance leader of the Lyon France was a civilian named Jean Moulin and was executed by Barbie. Your claim of a Reims railway makes no sense at all.....it was called Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français (SNCF) founded in 1938 and still has this name to this day. Reims is a city not a train system nor was Reims changed to Coty! Also, FRANCE WAS LIBERATED WITHIN 2 MONTHS OF ALLIED FORCES LANDING!!!
Your story makes no sense---You claimed he was Belgian in Lyon France as an officer with French Forces but rescued downed pilots and jews sent to Spain which is much further away than to Switzerland? Also Klaus Barbi was in the Netherlands until 1942 then to Lyon France but was transferred to be at Auschwitz in April 1944. The Bombing Raids over France was not until May 1944-1945 during the time of Normandy Invasion preps. Bombing raids were mostly in Northern Belgium, Holland and Germany
Your story does not jive--- because I was working together with Gunther Rall with the Royal Museum Of Military History in Brussels for the opening of the new exhibit to open in 2000 about the Nazi Occupation of Belgium. The only documents that they had concerning any networks of underground resistance was 50 pages. That is all they even had.
This video is about a COLLABORATOR FROM NORWAY and it takes place in Norway who fled to Sweden and was caught.....so what does your Belgian grandfather in France have anything to do with this documentary??? That is like me bringing up out of the blue my cousin Harold Schultz the true flag raiser on mt. Suribachi or my other cousin Sigrid Schultz who was a US Spy in the Nazi Hierarchy who wrote the book "Germany Will Try It Again" I could go on listing a ton of my relatives who served in WW2 etc. So, it has nothing to do with this VIDEO!!!!

Some people disrespect and abuse themselves. In that case, abusing others would simply be....
"treating others as you would yourself" would it not?

There are endless programs like this, devoted to nazi criminals while very few focus on the atrocities of the Japanese. In particular the most heinous and cruel torturers of the Japanese Unit 731 who were pardoned by the US in exchange for their data on horrific human experiments.
Shiro Ishii and his deputy Masaji Kitano and a staff of 3,000 were all let off without any punishment by General MacArthur after Truman and his top advisors signed off on it. The pardon was issued in 1947 and only exposed in 1982. No apologies have been issued and none ever will for the crime of the century. God knows what other crimes against humanity are still hidden.......

My mother, who was born in 1946, spent her childhood at the small station Village Rinnan, where Henry Oliver Rinnan`s family got their name from. For several decades she was ashamed of telling people where she was from.
BTW: There are Conspiracy Theories that Rinnan was NOT executed, but taken by the CIA to USA because of his wast knowlegede of the Comunist networks of Norway. The story is that he was seen boarding a American seaplane outside Trondheim after his aleged death.

When "interrogating" him, he presented the man with his still hanging fionce. Enraged with shock, sorrow and anger, the man was shot in the brawl that followd. Some her say that Rinnan did not hold rank within the SS/ Gestapo. He was in fact the leader of Gestapos "sonderabteilung Lola" with about 50 men and women. That dos not come without a rank.

Story after story of inhuman monsters like him. How many tens of thousands, Hundreds of thousands? of these monsters committed atrocities in WW2. And it all gets back to Hitler. Everyone just gave into this ultimate monster and an entire generation of Germans, Austrian and others lost their humanity.

His son had a much worse childhood after the war since everybody knew who his father was. Adults often beat him up and they didn't allow anyone of their children to play with or befriend him. He eventually escaped to Sweden and changed his name. Yes, his father was the most hated man in Norway alongside Quisling. But his fathers sins weren't his.

The scripture quoted Jesus word " Today you will be with me in paradise". Actually this is correct sentence -
" Today I am saying to you you will be with me in paradise" .
Paradise will be the earth and the evildoer was going to be resurrected in the future.
Bible tells the prospect of future resurrection for mankind.
"There will be resurrection of righteous and unrighteous" - Act24:15

Wow, talk about an idiotic mistake. Do better! The very first sentence in your video is factually wrong; he was executed on the night of February 1, 1947, not nine months later as you say, on november 1. Here`s a pro tip; Do research before making "informative videos" on youtube.

A firing squad is not brutal, isn't that what soldiers in Combat use to kill the opponent? A rifle, knife, blah blah .... Such horse shit bait to hook ppl to see the video. Oh and BTW, He was executed by the Norwegian Authorities and they were not even an Allied Nation in the war. The were an Occupied Nation by the Germans until the end of the war!!! Also you are INCORRECT ABOUT IT BEING BRITISH SOE trying to assassinate him,...IT WAS 2 Norwegian SOE soldiers Arthur Pevik and Odd Sørli !!! Get your facts straight!!!
