I've had war thunder for years and its even getting too much for me now so i havnt played it in months. Also Take Clash of Clans for example, the grind used to be horrible but they sped up the upgrade time and cost which has worked out well for them as well as bringing back lots of long lost players

The message is very clear regarding repair costs, BR compression, and the grind, so why ignore it? There are opportunities for profit even if they were fixed.

So many things done right (3D models, feel of scale, gun handling and damage model) completly ruined by compared just a few but really really bad, design decisions... Please consider tweaking italy as a whole, they could use more variaty with the Coastal Tree at lower tiers and less sister ships in Bluewater in favor of other classes. The Ground Forces are still missing some vehicles or the ones that are in it miss modifications like SIDAMS and other cold war machines not having Thermals/NVS or laser range finders, the M42 Contraereo not being belt fed or having it as a researchable modification , it would also be welcome if the R3 T20 was moved up a tier or more at least, though it misses the NVS and APDS; the P40 also has some hitbox issues, shell phase through armor at 70° angles. A slight buff to aircraft MGs would be welcome too, US M2/M3s already have unrealistically high RoFs like other Aerial MGs in the game, Italy could use a buff, maybe adf the use to rockets to some of their WWII aircrafts, though it wasn't super common.

I ask as a late 1890s/early 1900s British-built Japanese warship enthusiast. Also, as a new naval battles player, I have a suggestion, why not create an entirely new bluewater fleet tech tree exclusively for the WWI-era vessels? This way things will not only be historically accurate, but at least a bit fairer.

Arranging turrets in a hexagon was not unusual, early designs for the Dreadnoughts had guns in an hexagonal arrangement, as did some US designs. The 10" guns of Satsuma were originally to have been 12s giving her a big gun battery of a single calibre in a hexagonal arrangement. The hexagonal arrangement was also found on other semi-dreadnoughts.

For gods sake please bring back stormy weather. 1 it adds to the challenge 2 and this is my main reason you can sneak up on big ships in a PT / coastal boat by running between the waves. Well subs weren't able to stay under water for very l9ng during the war they could take advantage of this and only allow you to stay underwater for so long say 10 minutes before you have to surface and cat that point subs are very vulnerable if you are too care less subs are basically just slow PT boats that sink on purpose the player would be forced to strategize and it's not like subs aren't capable of killing small boats with its surface guns some are known to have the same amount if surface guns as a PT boat but when it comes to ships diving and using torpedos are you're only option provided the ship didn't see you first

Battleships are nice except in most of the maps that you spawn in across them and there is nothing you can do about them. WT Naval is very un-balanced.
Technically any ship after the HMS Dreadnought which has all of its main guns the same Calibre are dreadnoughts. These are dreadnought battleships, then you get pre-dreadnought which were called battleships before dreadnought, and then fast battleships afterward. Also Battlecruisers were made around the time of the dreadnought battleship, and were a mix between cruisers and battleships. So yes, dreadnoughts are battleships.

Warships are the most beautiful form of war machine. Still hoping we get matches where ships can perform coastal bombardment and attack tanks. Preferentially in maps that favor bombardment by smaller ships, so DDs and cruisers can have their fun without dreadnoughts smacking them silly and WWII tanks can share a map with WWII ships. Though to be honest, dreadnoughts would be easier to destroy via plane attacks so it's a weird balance situation I suppose.

So Gaijin added the 1st and 4th classes of Dreadnoughts for the British, the 1st and 2nd for the Germans, 2nd for the Americans, 1st and 2nd for the Russians and 1st and then the 3rd class for the Japanese. What War Thunder needs, as a whole, is an update dedicated to quality gameplay improvements, not just naval, but ground and air too. No new vehicles, no premiums, no maps. Just improvements to balance, the economy, glitches, decompression etc. It sounds implausible, i know, but there are many players who would probably return after hearing about such an update. I really do love this game but ita due a fix up
So... Why is Gaijin so conservative about development? Why don't we know what's coming? We don't even know about major patches until 1-2 weeks until they release? Why is the testing team so small? Why are developers almost completely locked away the community? Why are we almost completely unable to give feedback and change decisions before they come to the game?

It takes about 2 years to reach 10.7 for a single nation, so to get every vehicle would be impossible unless if you pay for premium

When they added more ships i gave naval a try,i literally spent 15 minutes floating around getting wrecked by a pack of 6 ships

@@Nesuns maybe if people stop wanting specific vehicles and just played the game for what it is they could enjoy the grind. I never sort out anything specific, just played what I had.
The game is advertised as having over 1500 vehicles, you downloaded it knowing that fact, if you can't enjoy the game as is it's not for you.

Well subs weren't able to stay under water for very l9ng during the war they could take advantage of this and only allow you to stay underwater for so long say 10 minutes before you have to surface and cat that point subs are very vulnerable if you are too care less subs are basically just slow PT boats that sink on purpose the player would be forced to strategize and it's not like subs aren't capable of killing small boats with its surface guns some are known to have the same amount if surface guns as a PT boat but when it comes to ships diving and using torpedos are you're only option provided the ship didn't see you first

Q- Will we see playable aircraft carriers? I want to see aircraft more often in navel battles.
Battleships are nice except in most of the maps that you spawn in across them and there is nothing you can do about them. WT Naval is very un-balanced.

Technically any ship after the HMS Dreadnought which has all of its main guns the same Calibre are dreadnoughts. These are dreadnought battleships, then you get pre-dreadnought which were called battleships before dreadnought, and then fast battleships afterward. Also Battlecruisers were made around the time of the dreadnought battleship, and were a mix between cruisers and battleships. So yes, dreadnoughts are battleships.
Dreadnought is another word for battleship you can call them either it doesn't matter their the same thing what we have in-game are indeed battleships

Warships are the most beautiful form of war machine. Still hoping we get matches where ships can perform coastal bombardment and attack tanks.
Preferentially in maps that favor bombardment by smaller ships, so DDs and cruisers can have their fun without dreadnoughts smacking them silly and WWII tanks can share a map with WWII ships. Though to be honest, dreadnoughts would be easier to destroy via plane attacks so it's a weird balance situation I suppose.

Don't grind f4 trop why would you? If you are Grinding f4 trop than I assume you have already grinded f4,f4 is identical to f4 trop, except f4 trip was modified to fly in tropical conditions

No they'll do what they essentially did with the Maus. Toss it in against cold war counterparts and watch its armor be nullified by anti-ship missiles.

So Gaijin added the 1st and 4th classes of Dreadnoughts for the British, the 1st and 2nd for the Germans, 2nd for the Americans, 1st and 2nd for the Russians and 1st and then the 3rd class for the Japanese. Except the Hyuga was commissioned in 1918, whereas all the others were commissioned before 1912, except Poltava in 1914 and Imperatritsa Mariya in 1915.

What War Thunder needs, as a whole, is an update dedicated to quality gameplay improvements, not just naval, but ground and air too. No new vehicles, no premiums, no maps. Just improvements to balance, the economy, glitches, decompression etc. It sounds implausible, i know, but there are many players who would probably return after hearing about such an update. I really do love this game but ita due a fix up

So... Why is Gaijin so conservative about development? Why don't we know what's coming? We don't even know about major patches until 1-2 weeks until they release? Why is the testing team so small? Why are developers almost completely locked away the community? Why are we almost completely unable to give feedback and change decisions before they come to the game?
The ''testing team'' is anyone who can get their hands on the test server honestly, and they don't even keep the test server up for long
