Thanks for taking the time to make this very helpful did you try the signals with the included LED indicator bulb mine doesn't work with the LED bulb but the normal incandescent works fine!? I also have LED signals and the diode like yours.. Thx
Your issue is the turn signal relay. leds dont pull enough current to trigger a normal turn signal relay. Buy one that is meant for leds and it will work properly
Howdy - followed your video to a T but for some reason the left turn signals (front and back) are on full time, and the brights dont work. What did i do wrong?
Thanks for the instructional! Do you have a link to the model Trail Tech you purchased? I'm entertaining the idea of installing one of these now that I've seen your video
this includes both. you might be able to find them cheaper on ebay but you need to make sure you have the correct part number. each kit is set up for certain bikes.
I followed your instructions to a Tee, and I'm not getting the 2 dash lights to turn on the left side (Kickstand & neutral). Wondering same, if I should use the black wore from the Kickstand instead of Neutral? Guess I'll just try & see if that fixes it.
Question about you tachometer. I hooked mine up the same way and entered 2 ppr into the vapor. But there is no way it's accurate. I noticed yours showing you revved I it to 12,000 rpm. Mine says I'm about 6-7,000 rpms when I'm somewhere around 4,000 plus mine goes up to at least 10,000 rpm. Have you discovered any way of making the tachometer somewhat accurate?
Hey man, kind of a dumb question b/c I'm a noob and just got an XR... what does it mean by engine temp? Reason I ask is because I want to install a DIY oil thermometer through the nut and It'll act as both a thermo and the dipstick. This way I'll know when I need to commit to an oil cooler.
@@masonm38500 been working really great for the past 7 years. I saw the sutton. Then I saw the price and where it was located and decided to make my own. It's just a Kawasaki lawn tractor oil cooler with braided hoses from autozone. I've been planning a trip for the last couple weeks. So I haven't had time to make a install video. Hopefully when I get back I can post something.
I'm just picturing the old pig with a dash like a 747 hub temp brake temp tire pressure gas temp air fuel ratio maybe an old IV pole with some oil bag hanging off a defibrillator on the luggage rack like a jump box just ride the thing end change the oil if it breaks it's not made for your style of riding try something else

still trying to figure out your indicators on the vapor.

Engine temp location: Brilliant. I was wondering how I was going to get a CHT loop on that hard to access plug....

On your black wire that you capped off, does it matter which one you use? I believe the two blacks were from side stand and neutral light??

Hi what model it’s your vapor speedometer? Its the 752-117 model?

I think i set mine to 1 ppr. The video was before I adjusted the settings.
DRugfree1987 , hope you are good. Need some info and guidance. How to contact you.
did you guys get your Vapor tach all sorted out on the XR through the settings? I too have the same question - wondering if you got accuracy with it.
What fender is that up front

Where did you get your oil temp filler gauge in your frame?
Conan73 Xxx. XRs only
I bet you can put a bung in the exhaust for a digital air fuel ratio gauge for jetting
Thanks a lot
Did I spy a custom oil cooler?
Why. yes you did. Subscribe. I'll be doing a install video on that soon
I have a Sutton cooler because i'm not cleaver enough to fabricate my own. From the glimpse yours looks really nice, excited for a better look.
