Wauuu This is amazing. I'm definately an Old RBR Fan and Modder, and this is warming my heart. Just looking at the track is emotional. i know it inside out. RBR_4_Ever.
I've never played RBR, but I definitely have fun playing DiRT Rally 2.0 with VR! It makes it easier to track the next corner or to watch how i attack a corner. It feels a lot more like I can understand the placement of the car when im sitting in an actual 3 dimensional space.
With the new VR mod it's even better! Better visuals and performance (well needed for some detailed tracks on the reverb G2). A bitt of off topic, but ttoday they release the universal VR injector to make almost all Unreal 4/5 games run in full VR! That means we will be able to play old games like dirt 4, 5, the last Dakar game and many, many more...
I really enjoy your rally content man, keep it up! Also, I never expected RBR to evolve so much since its release. I have a question on that since you are talking about the MK2 Escort a lot, from what I remember the physics in this game were not designed to support RWD cars and the trick the modders did was make them 4WD with as little torque in the front differential as possible. Was that fixed? Does the game now have proper RWD physics?
Thank you man. I don't know much about whats gone into creating the RWD physics but I assume that with NGP the RWD cars are simulated true to life. Take a car like the Lancia Stratos, it drives exactly like I imagine to with the big slides and rotation.
Nice! I've just started with RBR RSF in VR using the openVR option but I don't get the menus like you're seeing. Are you using the older VR version? Also, what co-driver are you using? Mine is with a Swedish/Finnish accent and some of the calls aren't clear enough.
Just using the VR plugin that comes with RallySimFans. Not sure about the performance boost but tbh on my system I'm maxing out the performance anyway.
I've always felt that the damage model in RBR is too unforgiving. I retired from a round of Sim Rally Masters due to a damaged starter motor and stalling on a corner. I have a hard time believing that will happen in real life.

it was fixed some years ago
the original physics way to make RWD was to turn the car model around and change the gearbox have 1 gear forwards and 6 in reverse, lmao
@@aleksip_rally and no handbrake, in czech plugin times on original physics, circa 2008-2011
This is my favorite car !!! Ima going to do this combo today looks sweet great drivibg

Where to get the total conversion mod?
3 days until my clutch pedal arrives. 3 days until I can use my new fanatec pedals properly. Come on.
Hi mate, how have you set up VR in the menu? I cant seem to get it to work properly, any help is appreciated, thanks
I double press one of the side buttons on my hand held VR controller and that snaps the camera to where it should be.

RBR is ok as long as you can put up with the absolute bollocks that is engine damage that ends your stage.

Are you using a HP or HTC VR?
Sadly neither. Oculus Rift S.
👍

#openrbvr ;) building the lebois racing srt9.1 thanks to refinding my love of rally with this sim. So good in vr!
It’s so sad that EA refuses to create PSVR2 games.
Won’t be buying this game because of that
VR support in WRC would be nice, I agree
Lol. This isn't EA WRC, bro.
Gee, now it even has VR?
I guess Dirt Rally 2.0 isn't needed anymore!😲
