Yes, If all six faces are separate (not united) then, yes you can assign unique layer values to each face.

Why are Hidden features from the model tree become visible, once i call them in assembly? If I hide a solid body or a surface when i m modelling and I don't need them in my final model, I open the part in assembly and they are back, they become "Show" Again. How to Stop that?
