I had to gaurd Terry Porter when I tried out for our college team as a walk on at the UWSP under coach Dick Bennett in 1982. I did not make the team. I blame Terry Porter. I then used to go one on one with former Hornet and current Virginia coach Tony Bennett (Dick's son) when he was about 14. You could tell both Terry and Tony were going to be great players.
The All-Time very best at UW-Stevens Point! Excellent Pro who was as solid as you can be and I'm sure a great teammate. As good a player as he was - he is as good a person!
