Ride Quality: ASV vs Competitive Loaders

  • ASV pioneered the concept of torsion axle suspension in compact track loaders back in the 1980’s. Undercarriage suspension has always been a central part of ASV’s patented Posi-Track system. ASV machines are built to give you a smooth ride and protect your machine from rough bumps and vibration.

    Ya but if a big limb or stump gets caught in them tracks it could bend or take the track off the 289 would be my choice

      Read in an another YT post, that a full replacement of the undercarriage is $12-15K U.S. and if a track comes off you almost need another machine to help put it back on. No thanks!

    Do you have a video of demonstrating grader-leveling a site. I was told with your suspension its difficult to level a site

      Hi Otto, we don't have any videos but here's a couple from other users you may be interested in.

      If using a blade that wants to self feed or dig it tends to rock forward onto the front torsion, so the answer is Yes, depending on what tool is being used. For neutral blading it's fine

    Hey guys! We are looking at getting a Bobcat T300, and I was wondering what model of asv would compare to the T300? Thanks, and have a great day!

      Hi! That is a vertical reach machine, so the closest ASV match would likely be the ASV VT-70. asvi.com/track-loaders/vt-70/

      Thanks for the reply! But wouldn’t the bobcat have more hp? I believe that the 70 has around 70 hp when the bobcat has 81. Can you please correct me if I am wrong.

      You are correct. We also make an RT-75, which is a radial lift machine. It is the one featured in this video! It still isn't an exact match but it's a very good machine.

    Can ASV compare it's Tracked Skid Steer loaders with JCB'S Tracked Teleskid Steer loaders please?

    • @MRSketch09
      @MRSketch09 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know I'm a year late, but.. JCB's.. "niche" is the fact they have a "Tele skid".. it wouldn't really be an "Apples to apples" comparison on any level. JCB, has a really "Unique" platform with its "mono boom"...

    While maintaining complete control if his machine and his load. Fuck he'd have had more, material left at the end if he put it in his pockets.

    Why do you need suspension when you can clean the road with the bucket I think is stupid trying to explain

    • @imagoflyfishing9993
      @imagoflyfishing9993 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you are driving over super rough terrain all day to get where you need to take your buckets, then it completely destroys other machines. Or that unexpected bump in the ground in places you have no familiarity with but have a job to get done without excuses as to why you couldnt complete it because you couldnt spend half a day levelling a shitty little track you will never see or use again.

    • @ASVCompactEquipment
      @ASVCompactEquipment  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thanks for the comment. For this test, we used the locally available track configuration. We agree that any machine with a suspended undercarriage will perform better in this application and encourage you to demo both that and the ASV Posi-Track to see what you think! The machines are weighted differently though which will change your performance on slopes.

      Looking forward to seeing that head to head.... and I am looking, though recently I've become very intrigued with the Volvo and JCB single arm units.

      Why would you compare cat mtl ? It's the same undercarriage. They are comparing mtl. Vs. Ctl . Stupid question
