    My 2004 r50 runs everyday!!!! In the cold Minnesota winter feedong cattle! The only thing I would trade for is a new one!

    My 2017 RT60 is a beast. The only thing it needs is a tighter cab. It’s fully loaded and I can see outside in spots.

    They do float better that is true, but in rocky conditions or moving a lot of #2 stone for construction entrances you will destroy the fragile undercarriage. Also in the winter after a day of operating in muddy conditions if the temps fall below freezing over night the next day the ASV will not move. All of the exposed boogie wheels will be frozen and their is no way to avoid it. For working in sandy conditions they are really good but in tougher working conditions they just can’t hold up like the other CTL’s. Plus with a much higher price tag off the dealers lot and a almost double priced replacement undercarriage parts they are too expensive to operate on a daily basis.

      Hi B&K, we recommend bogey wheels be worn by at least 70% before considering replacement. Many people don't know this, but even if the rubber wears down to 100% gone, the product is still totally functional and similar to other undercarriages you see. The rubber is there though to protect the track and lengthen its lifespan.

      I have to agree, with the extra maintenance the asv undercarriage requires it’s not worth it in my opinion. Not to mention if you do pop a track off it’s a nightmare putting them back on, you almost need another machine to help.

    Asv will get the job done faster an with less disturbance to the ground than any other machine period. Bobcat dreams it could go where an asv will.

    Trust the Leader everyone has to copy! Overall Bobcat! invented the Skidsteer and stays ahead! My 2019 T650 is Perfectly Balanced, wide track, selectable joysticks, match the work ahead better than any other brand, and Stand behind there equipment, I had a Lemon T550 Bobcat, they stepped up and delivered the T650! Tell me one other brand with a better commitment to the it’s customers! Bobcat Rules on my farm!

      Cat, has never let us down and everything in the cab doesn’t look so generic. Seats are ten times more comfy than bobcats, their service blows everyone else out of the water, etc.
      But that’s only in Ohio, it could be different for your dealer. At ours they talk to you like your stupid and don’t seem interested in helping you. Was looking at the new e-50, the rep didn’t know half the stuff I did about it but I guess I study the stuff to much

      I have no issues with bobcat, but my dad and I have a cat 259b and a 259d. They’re both great machines, and like mentioned in a previous comment, you won’t beat cats service and parts availability. You break down and cat will have you someone out there that day. Bobcat or other brands could have you waiting two or three days due to their limited number of technicians.

    I can show you real mud here in the finger lakes new York !sorry but that ain't much like the mud we mulch in .sticky thick mud ,not a water hole! I won't believe a track machine like that will hold up the mud we been in .Run flat tires and steel grouser with ice cleats ,or your stuck !I want to be proved wrong ! Show me ! Without cleats your spinning,and stuck !

      Dwayne, i know this thread is 4 years old, i can only pray you're still around. i'd love to pick your brain - i'm trying to decide which type of skidder to get, i've got a mile long STEEP gravel driveway, i get a lot of snow here in eastern washington. i'm fascinated by your knowledge about over the tire steel tracks, damn i hope you're out there! thanks in advance:) -barbie

      Its not so much wear the tak can go,its the fact the the tak is so damn well refined and built tuff.There is no comparison on longevity between an ASV and a tak,none.The japanese machines will run a long circle of hours around the ASV,sorry ASV,you lose.

      The ASV tracks are physically wider and operate completely different than standard tracks. This demo is specifically trying to showcase that. This comment is like you looking at a race between a Ford Mustang and a Chevy Corvette and telling them to put the same engines, transmissions, and tires on both vehicles. If these are configured how they would be off a dealer showroom this is a fair test to show how ASVs track, undercarriage, and sprockets are better.
