heya some advice. bleed only does damage to you when you run. standing still the only thing bleed does then is prevent you from healing. also, purple flowers are healing plants. if u see someone running around eating them its cus they have low health and are trying to heal quicker. btw the bleed prevents all healing, so u cant heal with the plants while bleeding. also crouch turning is better than normal turning and if you build into nimble footed you can deal with megaraptors more easily as it makes you turn faster. also get bruiser, that way tail hits do more damage and you can also do more injury. if you had bruiser that fight the megaraptor would be crippled and you could chase it down and kill it. with 3/3 bruiser you can also deal injury with tail hits. the stamina draining is a talent called exhaust bite. super good now since snakes dont get crippled by injury so instead you drain their stam stopping them from running. also even a little rex can kill a decent snake cus of ur base health and damage being so high, just crouch turn and use right click to bite downward to hit them. sometimes u need to quickly crouch and right click while chasing a snake to hit it cus sometimes they are too small and u are too big. also, again. ur base health and damage is higher than any other carnivore so dont be scared to invest in something other than combat. most go speed first then combat for good reason, turning and getting away from bigger players. another tip is use water to ur advantage as you are a faster swimmer than acros or coahs but of course still slower than the mid tiers and low tiers. good luck on your next adventures!
The hunt point trial mechanic makes it so that everything in the game has an excuse to kill something🤷♂️. There’s a lot to beasts of Bermuda and as long as you find out what every playable is capable of you will find yourself in better situations 👍
Don't give up! I'm excited to watch a new dinotuber (I usually just watch owltime) The solo rex experience, on officials no less, is incredibly hard and you have your work cut out for ya. Best of luck!
A combat tip- crouching improves your turning circle, but you can 'tap-turn' to improve it even more (repeatedly tapping the turn key so you keep turning without accelerating forwards). This is very important for fighting on land as rex!
Solo Rex is kinda rough when you're small. Grab a camo skin, most pvpers go jagrex (aqua affinity into speed tree pick up EB & nimble) then combat via lungs. Turn off all environmental sounds the only thing you'll hear is other players + your own sounds. Bleed isn't like isle where you bleed out (unless you're running afaik?) most of the time its to prevent you from healing (including eating purple flowers/crystals) that's why the megarat was eating the flowers knowing you wouldn't be able to heal. When something is trying to get behind you, crouch turn. Rex ability is a fast rush and you can cancel it by pressing the ability key again once you reach your target so you avoid running through it. Down bite (right click) is to deal with things like snake/smalls that you cannot reach you might need to practice this on AI when you're bigger run at it then crouch down bite to land hits. Use water to your advantage, some dinos can't use their ability in water e.g; pachy charge, megarat evasive, plus you speccing into Out of Element literally means you deal more dmg in the water/storm weather (the whole point of jagrex). You tried to fight a sai and yeah... that's sai for you. I recommend checking out media posted in Deep Abyss cord to see how rex mains do the thing where they alt + bite like head flicking to land hits on sai. Timing is everything, I'm not expert but the difference between noob rex vs rex main is night & day. Last thing is everything has a reason to kill you whether its taking out future predator or simply due to hunt points for trials. If you fight, expect to be ganked immediately after. Most important tip above all else - trust no one. Not even your own species. Great footage & vid, hope to see more BoB content from you!
I empathize so much with this. "Welp I'm dead" x40 times. I always get ganged up on by 3 arcos and just get chewed and bled to death as they take turns chomping me. Fun game but it's basically a death sentence to play solo :[
People who finish you off after you've narrowly survived a fight - especially people who play herbivores - are such spoilsports. Either they take pleasure in pointlessly ruining other people's fun or they're so deeply insecure that they feel the need to feed their egos by claiming a kill that was never theirs in the first place. It's just such mean-spirited behavior. Watching that nonsense, I was frustrated on your behalf too :( you took it in stride though! Good on you!
I’ve played enough of the isle and other games to not really let it get to me but trust me it still makes me mad I just don’t understand it they literally get nothing out of it
a good way to get better and more familiar with the game and maybe dinos you havent played is to join a community server. they usually have rules in place for packing and fighting as well so its not so wild. in some servers (most) when you die you will simply respawn elsewhere still able to grow and build the same dino. its a lot more fun
Dude I’m so glad you gave bob another shot. Rex is one of the hardest things to play as right now on officials because you really easily can get a kill in a fight but when there are six of them you will just end up dying. Try out acro next because water pvp sucks imo and I still avoid it at all costs and I’ve been playing for 4 years
One of things I don’t like about the game is that simple actions like biting drains your orange ability thing. Like I understand with actual abilities like crouch running and the back jump that mega raptor does but biting? Or the primary attack? I don’t get it.

I couldn’t agree more tbh. As someone who’s played all 3 I generally don’t understand how people like the BoB combat. It just sucks… see I’d love to play Bob more but it has some huge downsides for me. The combat as stated, and honestly the growth. I hate how you just keep growing. Even if you’re adult. There’s always going to be someone’s who’s much larger than you. They’ll come and eat you like a snack. You have no chance. Your pot accusations are also pretty on point. Personally I think pot has the best and most enjoyable combat experience. But… they don’t seem to agree on how smth should be balanced. It’s to the point to where it feels like most of the Dino’s are either really good or really bad. Often they’ll buff a Dino to where it’s good then nerf it for like no reason. Cough cough meg ehem… And tbh, I really hate to say it but currently I personally think the isle is the worst of the 3. The game is over complex, death penalty is far too high, growth is long and boring, and the combat isn’t exactly bad but it could use some work.
@@SuspiciousAnomolythank you for actually giving real, constructive criticism on bob instead of mindlessly going “game look bad”. Personally bob is my favorite cause I’m not a fan of pot’s questing (boring and grindy feeling) and the isle is a pain in the ass for your aforementioned reasons. I personally deal with the bob Godzillas by being vigilant and investing in stealth (really all you can do, I agree that it’s pretty dumb), but I just really like the talent tree system, weather, and mechanics. @@fishyfungus5026 Yeah, I agree that BoB has some awesome things about it. And honestly the graphics aren’t bad it’s just a different style. I love the whether mechanics and how the playable interacts with the environment. Though I dislike the lack of a map, and no tutorial. Bob is easily the most niche out of the 3. Overall it’s a pretty enjoyable game sometimes if you can deal with its combat and size growth variations. Personally I gravitate towards path because it’s the least punishing to play out of the 3. Sure the growth can be a long and grueling process, but the best part about it is once you grow you never have to grow again. If you die you might lose like 2 minutes of growth which you can get back in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention they actually give you a tutorial to get you into the game. I also love the fact how it has an in game friend system and is cross platform through all platforms including platforms like mobile and Nintendo switch. I like that the game gives you stuff to grind for on the form of skins. So it’s something to keep you occupied. Also the presence of the map makes it easier to traverse the map and know where you’re at. I love the maps different and immersive biomes, it sort of feels like the ark maps a bit. Their oceans are beautiful in most areas. It has its disadvantages. Like the balance can be a bit mediocre. Devs nerf things that don’t need to be nerfed, and buff things that don’t need to be buffed. And I understand that people just don’t like the manual growth. Although I prefer the manual growth since it keeps you occupied instead of being idle the whole time. Feels you you are actually playing the game yk?
@@SuspiciousAnomoly about the manual growth, the reason I don’t like it is because the quests are usually mind-numbing and I feel like they require intense map knowledge to complete quickly. I legit spent 20 minutes collecting stupid ass cacti cause I had to wait for the old ones to regen cause I didn’t find enough clusters. And then I got like 3% growth for that and that’s my pot experience in a nutshell. Legit felt like I would grow faster in the isle somehow. Maybe I’m like blind asf but cmon man, the quests actively frustrate the hell out of me and i always feel like I’m wasting time when not questing, and feel really dumb when I have to wait for the extra 5 sticks to respawn because I’m too imperceptive to see the last pile in some ditch. I never even got to pvp on even grounds or even experience the game to it’s fullest cause I got too tilted questing and had to stop. I just feel really discouraged about playing pot rn cause I’m actually too stupid for the brainrotted fetch quests. Pot is defo the easiest to pick up because the lower death penalty and the devs are smart enough to have a tutorial (take notes bob/isle!).
bleed just stops healing and comfort gain, it doesnt deal damage. Also, purple flowers only heal you when you don't have bleed. Also, mutations specifically say they're a mutation in a little rectangle at the top of the customize skin menu. (PS. welcome to the snake hate club)
I was so confuse why you seemed so well versed in this game dispite this being the first time I’ve seen you play it, turns out I missed your last 3 vids :(
Find a player owned server with official like rules, trust me, the fact they have moderators that moderate makes it 10x better then turning a corner to find a 5 pack of clan members who've been scouting you with a flyer for the last 20 minutes to try and hunt you down... that or esp users finding you deep in a tunnel from across the map with a 5.0 acro or rex, and trust me... there are dozens of them
imagine watching a video of a guy that just installed the game, seeing him die and then saying the game is unbalanced because the new player doesnt know how to play? Most intelligent isle player
You suck at this game just like I am going to when I pick it up in a few days. I really liked your video and your unwilling to give up or even get rattled as this what looks like a pretty hard game beat you down over and over again. Much respect!
yeah...this is one of those games that I WANT to enjoy, but I just can't, because it's so entirely unfair to be (comparatively) small as a newer player, and then these giants come and kill you, and you can't even hide because the scent turns you into a light bulb. Sure, in other games you also often get killed by bigger growth dinos when you're a baby, but at least you can hide properly, and there's a hard cap to how big things can get. Not to mention that some players will just be more powerful than you just cause they got lucky and got better inherits. There's a lot of fun and creative mechanics here for sure, but it's just not the game for me. A shame, because no other game has such fleshed out aquatic playables, a weather system that affects gameplay this much, and a playable SNAKE.
If I had to guess, you are playing community servers. Those guys tweak things making it possible to grow absolute giants. The intended gameplay experience is on officials. Things mostly starve to death beyond a certain size. When you are small, you have no scent, do not wander around out in the open. Inherits are not as strong as they used to be. The first 3 points carry the most weight now, inherits four and five each add up to about one extra talent point. And you can basically nest yourself into the game to get your own dino with a bunch of 5/3 inherits you just need to die on a dinosaur that has decent trials. Which you accomplish by just playing the game. Idk I’m not trying to convince you I guess, but it sounds like you do have interest and I think this is the most fleshed out be the creature game there is, once you learn its systems and mechanics, it has the gamiest gameplay loop out of the big three.
@@mojolmao1752 sure, cause having the advantage through way bigger size is being "better". that's like defeating a lv5 enemy with a lv60 character and pretending that you won cause you're just "better"
This mans life as a trex in this game is why I can't stand playing Bob anymore. It's so confusing and with no growth cap people are insanely aggro. Not only that but some dinos don't make any sense. Like why tf can s turtle kill a t rex with only 3 bites... Why does coah need so much meat it has to hunt fucking apatos in order to stay alive once it gets bigger. Pair that with luck based mechanics and stupid heal packs. It drives me up the wall I can't spend 24+ hours everyday growing a titanic t rex. At most maybe like 3 hours or so. Only to get smacked by a perfect trait 3.0 mega acro with 5 acro buddies. Oh and don't get me started on janky hitboxes. Imagine playing a sai and getting killed by ivthys THAT BITE YOUR TAIL...

Pot is defo the easiest to pick up because the lower death penalty and the devs are smart enough to have a tutorial (take notes bob/isle!).
love how the tags are pot and theisle but not BoB

bleed just stops healing and comfort gain, it doesnt deal damage. Also, purple flowers only heal you when you don't have bleed. Also, mutations specifically say they're a mutation in a little rectangle at the top of the customize skin menu. (PS. welcome to the snake hate club)
another sidenote, 20:24 you couldnt eat it because it was so small it didnt give any meat. You can eat food underwater.
22:30 archelon has a charge bite that takes roughly 6 seconds to charge fully and deals crazy damage.
Good job bro , you're doing great 💪
Subbed. Ty for the great content
Feel your pain man... at the moment trying to grow the biggest flyer on the server for a video, and it`s costing me my sanity :)
I was the green glowing Acro!
if you like your rex, you can always resurect it for free, you will just be smaller again
btw you cant die from bleed it just stops your health regen
on which server do you play ?
It’s not like a sea behemoth is going to jump at us from the ocean right?
I was gonna download and play this game, but after watching this. Imma stick with The Isle.
😂 trust me it’s fun and you’ll probably be 10x better than me I’m not the best representation of what this game can be
enjoy playing on 20 frames with nothing to do
@@mojolmao1752idk about the 20fps, I think is time to upgrade. But honestly Bob graphics are not good at all 😅
If you went and played as a turtle after, I’m pretty sure we grouped up haha
I may or may not have been playing as a turtle yesterday and grouped up with some people
this game actually looks fun, whats it called?
I was so confuse why you seemed so well versed in this game dispite this being the first time I’ve seen you play it, turns out I missed your last 3 vids :(
What game is this
Find a player owned server with official like rules, trust me, the fact they have moderators that moderate makes it 10x better then turning a corner to find a 5 pack of clan members who've been scouting you with a flyer for the last 20 minutes to try and hunt you down... that or esp users finding you deep in a tunnel from across the map with a 5.0 acro or rex, and trust me... there are dozens of them
Snakes really piss me off
turn enviroment volume down so you can hear nearby players you dont really need loud enviroment sounds
What game is this ?
what is best guy path of titan or bermuda ? i come from the isle
Lol i played on the same server at the same time, i heard someone mention a John Cena t-rex xD
after that video i guess i will stick to the isle
Yo love the videos would love to play with you and dominate the world if you would wanna
not every prehisotric creature is a dino. dinos are only the animals closest related to birds and thats it.
Purple flowers will heal some of an injury
and yellow flowers will give comfort.
love this
You could resurrect your Dino but it will cost you some growth points. Still better than start new one.
Also you double press F to pick up the things and you could pick up that meat from the underwater snake and eat it on land
AYO! If you ever wanna play again hit me up :)
seems all very balanced....
it is, just a skill issue problem
imagine watching a video of a guy that just installed the game, seeing him die and then saying the game is unbalanced because the new player doesnt know how to play? Most intelligent isle player
@@mojolmao1752 You are actively damaging the game by being cancerous to everyone in these comment sections.
You suck at this game just like I am going to when I pick it up in a few days. I really liked your video and your unwilling to give up or even get rattled as this what looks like a pretty hard game beat you down over and over again. Much respect!
can play this game on mobile
i keep rewinding to try and find this other rex you started following but all i see you do is say hi to nothing and walk off alone.
Game name?
Im all the dino games i played the most aggressive players are herb players
How can a title kill a rex?
I dont know how you had time to grow a rex multiple times after dying so many times as well
What is this game?
Beasts of Bermuda
let's be honest, herbivores should get a debuff for a good amount of time when they kill a carnivore
What is this game called?
Beasts of Bermuda
@@TylerKola thank you! I’ll go check it out!
snakes have so much advantages already. The stam killer should be removed its so boring.
game name pls
beasts of bermuda
Ayo i was the Raptor you killed about 12 min in. Ggs😁 good fight
Cringe
hello what is the name of the game
Beasts of bermuda
@@mrtk1796 Are these games on console?

yeah...this is one of those games that I WANT to enjoy, but I just can't, because it's so entirely unfair to be (comparatively) small as a newer player, and then these giants come and kill you, and you can't even hide because the scent turns you into a light bulb.
Idk I’m not trying to convince you I guess, but it sounds like you do have interest and I think this is the most fleshed out be the creature game there is, once you learn its systems and mechanics, it has the gamiest gameplay loop out of the big three.
imagine crying because better players are better than you
@@mojolmao1752 sure, cause having the advantage through way bigger size is being "better". that's like defeating a lv5 enemy with a lv60 character and pretending that you won cause you're just "better"
Never knew I could dislike watching something more than The Isle.
Why the negativity bro?
@@eclipse3338 It's nothing against him! Just this vid made me not like BOB lmao
He's just new lol, that's why it's painful to watch. Bob's pretty fun once you get the hang of it
@@Wheater-rz9wz Nah, its not just cause he's new. Every time I've seen someone play bob, its looks just as tedious as the isle lmao
@@derpy_j okay bro have fun playing sandbox simulator in pot
Erm, What the sigma?
I like Bob but I don’t understand how people enjoy this sort of combat. It’s kind of annoying fighting in this game. Especially with the mechanics where people can be much larger than you even though you are adult.
skill issue
This is why i stopped playing its just so confusing and also so unfair half the time , im hapoy others can find the game enjoyable but theres sooo much. And half the time dinos have crazy abilities that make it hard to fight. I just idk its not fun to me
Tough watch
especially the comments glazing the isle
And I was the snake that killed you at 13.54 lol. I lost my 2. Raptor to a rex (you) and therefore wanted all rexes dead, didnt realise it was you again😂. Gg
😂
Also pachys are always the worst. I hate them
first
Wow, this game looks like actual trash lol. Thanks for saving me time mate
Epic Bad Game design all throughout
Sound’s like a pretty Fun experience if these Animals were balanced
Still Fun but Man
L turtle
Bob official servers have the most toxic rude players in the game, if u want to find a server that is kinda okay and life cycle go to deep abyss
Is Tyler schizophrenic? Keeps referring to some random Trex called John Cena???
Wtf?
I’m not built for official servers, I need some sort of rules to deal with people’s BS
