They actually need a whole new map for the new aquatic animals to be playable at all. Something with a lot of shallow water and islands so that land animals have to cross through water a lot to get anywhere

I feel like part of the issue is that full aquatic and semi aquatic dinos feel the need to go where land dinos are most gathered for any chance of action. The water zones feel so vast that swimming into another player is pretty unlikely. I myself doubt that the addition of more aquatic dinos will fix that problem. I feel like a map that's entirely or almost exclusive to aquatic dinos would fix this problem so we can stop chasing where land dinos go
@@citrusthepenguin Yessss definitely more variety. The only ability slot with a choice is the senses one. But more speed would be ideal. Stamina isn't bad, but Amarga is so slow that most opponents can lie down for stamina mid-chase, get up, and still catch up.
It's excellent versus anything its size or smaller, but struggles with apexes especially because of the speed being low means they catch up and just stay on top of them.

Saying conc doesn't have mobility made me spit out my drink,it can catch almost everything and can get away in water,turns good w turn claw,does crazy bleed,can take a hit from things its size and keep fighting,has good hitboxes now,it just struggles with meg and apexs tbh
Conc I think in its grouping is the one that lacks, ofc it’s well rounded but it means competition wise it can often lack. In the water if there’s anything that isn’t juvi it’s doomed, on land it’s a similar story. Atleast Cera has some dps and armour for it, and Alio has speed and stamina, don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate conca. Perhaps of course maybe I’ve had worse experiences with it! After all entirely subjective :D

You forgot to mention how Conc is the only adult 2 slot who can be grabbed by Hatz with no counter to it and to double down on the water issue, it's the slowest semi-aquatic if there's anything at all in the water other than juvies you're just food.
Alió has same weight as concave and also gets grabbed by hatz plus It has more stam than alió better base swimmer more dmg more hp bleed and its just a better alió imo even more than cerato but not more than achillo.

It's very squishy but it has the speed, stamina, and abilities to kill pretty much anything. The ultimate dino pack is 1 metri, 1 utah, and 1 other dino of your choice. That combo can kill any other pack in the game easily.
Thalasso is like The Isle’s Pteranodon. Treated lower than dirt by both devs and the community by not giving them any buffs or extra abilities it needs.

Amarg is good, but it sucks for group play. 2+ of competent mid tiers can outplay 2 Amarg who aren't humping a cliff corner, easily. I would agree that it's A tier for solo play but B-C tier overall because the group play is non-existent
Amarga in c?😭 Amarga is insanely strong and due to the knockback doesn't have any hard counters anymore. It destroys anything in its weightclass (dasp, allo,...) and under and can just push away bigger playables (rex, eo,...)
I stand by it, I personally think it still needs some love. The reflect damage is great too, but the knockback carry’s it a lot in my eyes, if a player goes for the rear, amarg deals with it easy, if not, can be more of a struggle for the amarga. That’s how I see it atleast
@@VelocciYTkinda true but it’s frontal attack deals higher damage and bleed, so the front is pretty much what you would want to avoid, if you don’t want to run around with max bleed. And Amarga can run for days so when it stacks enough bleed it can just hunt down its opponent
I love playing amarg and think that the majority of carni are now killable to amarg. Apex is still an issue to me, though. Our tail dmg is not enough to take say a Rex out, and of course we shouldn't risk tanking their dmg to get in our stomps. However, we are not mobile enough to truly get away even when sprinting. They need to buff up amarg's speed then I would be way more confident about surviving Apex encounters
@@Valshara_ you honestly just need to time ur tail attacks right and push the apex back till they are out of stam, that way amarg can pretty much avoid any apex as it has more than double the amount of stam they have

Yea I main kai and definitely think he underestimates how good kai is compared to eurhino. Plus it can get to more locations than eurhino can which diminishes it content issue quite a bit. Eurhino hard counters kai, but I'd prefer to play as kai vs anything else.
Saying conca is worse than alio. Your delusional. Highest bite damage for its tier, best bleeder in the official roster. In 1v1s it fairs well and absolutely demolishes alio
Stego shouldn’t be an S tier. Stego has no answer for a Suchomimus. Sucho is faster and once it gets the claw barage on a stego, the stego is finished. Stego is good against most everything else but there are a lot of Sucho players so its vulnerability to Suchos is a pretty big weakness.
My favorite for scouting ws and helping a new player is ramp Bonus build for buffing apex's and holding down Hatz in groups My favorite for killing things in groups is raptors i like Lat over Achillo but i use both For solo i like my spino but i think i like Sucho more than Spino because in a fight I'm squishy but with enough skill you tail ride everything decently and is really fast on land and sea compared to spino i chase a spino down in water and won was an intense close fight but i started to see its potential more that day. I pretty much use sucho when i want to mess everything up in IC or something
Honestly cera is better then before in my opinion yes the bb was nice but like cera now has a kick,shove and all for one so now it's actually really good I'm a cera main and I can barely kill a lamb by my self which is easier said then done
Meg def needs some TLC but as a Meg main i still do very well. I dont agree with it being in D. I still kill Rexs or at the very least back them into a corner and they cant go anywhere. Still a very effective playable.
It is it has the best turn in the game with balanced claws and 1100 sprint speed 66 dmg bite with fresh blood and it's bleed is the best in the game it can also use water
Dasp is the peak carnivore right now. Apex killer mode with piercing bite and bone break, damage output stacks through the roof in packs. 4 tapping any apex with 4 tyrant roar stacks. Definately my favorite solo or support Dino!
I have a theory that we will get a 4th pterosaur in the next pack hear me out: we are currently lacking a niche in the official flyers: a dogfighting ace, and we would be in a bad ratio of flyers to aquatics: 4 flyers (if you count microraptor) and 5 swimmers (if you count sarcho) so adding a 4th flyer (5th if you count microraptor) would balance things up, my idea for it is a swimmer/areal pterosaur that’s frágil in the ground but a good swimmer and excellent in the air with a dive bomb ability that deals a ton lot of damage to anything it hits and cancels damage from collision with other dinosaurs and animals, Hatz’s stab but also usable on flight and peck barrage also usable on flight plus all of hatz’s front limb abilities, it would be faster than Thal in air with the stamina hatz has and it would take the seabird pterosaur niche as Thal gets a rework, I think this is 80% guaranteed trust me now which pterosaur will it be I don’t know but I’m hoping for my boio pteranodon Longiceps
"Laten's just a better deinonychus" I am now VERY offended. Deinonychus is much faster, much more agile and much more annoying. Deinony is so fun to play and it has so much more different abilities, so you can actually choose if you wanna be a trophy stealer that can outrun struthis or you wanna stay and 1v1 achillos. It's not like laten where all you have is just nighttime abilities.
I do like deinon but I’ve enjoyed laten more, tbf I do wish looking back I put them in equal tiers, but good! Just prefer playing laten for combat and deinon for harassing
I think there should be a list made that includes the mods from the main server, because i could see a few of these being switched around when compared to the mods on the server

i get your love for Stego, i as a Stego main would put it in S+ tier but to face the reality it sits with bars in a desperate need of a tlc. Its too squishy and deals way to little damage for what it is
@@xanshen9011 i must disagree on damage terms. it is currently 5k cw and deals less damage then Dasps default bite. atleast raise the damage of both attacks up by 20 to give it a little lethality for its incapability of attacking frontline. Squishiness deffo agree it feels like you play a 3k cw
@@caIamity Youre forgetting the fact that combat weight is more important then base damage. 5k combat weight creature will deal more damage then a 3.5k combat weight even if that playable has more base damage.
If Aquatics could more easily access the rivers and lakes of the main map more people would play them I think. I got my Kai to BQL and it's great fun scaring the piss out of people who come for a drink.

The problem with this tier list is that many dinos are only effective as solo or group, but not both. Alio, for example, can be rough solo but a group of them will ruin your day
I’m still hoping they give baby Dino’s some love, & I’d like to see abilities in each slot that are available for baby players to use, I spent most of my time playing a baby Meg at the bottom of juvie and I loved it, when I could benefit from the dive ability cuz I could use it to get away from all the murder hobos, if k couldn’t out run something, I could typically out swim it or vice versa, & the tiny caves aren’t that safe since any raptor can fit in there and compto players are constantly a pain cuz of that as well.
Raptors should receive the feathery hide ability that Struthiomimus got. I don't expect them to tank damage, but right now a single mistake in a hunt can mean instant death which I think is really unfair for a starter dino.
In my opinion, this feature of Struth's is unfair anyway, at least now that can be stacked 5 times, 3 could be ok. And, that raptors can easy kill dinos with +3 times its combat weight is also unfair. About if starters should be always weak, I think is a marketing strategy to force players buy all the game or at least one dino package.
Conc has 1100 sprint speed the best turn in the game when using balanced claws the bleed is at 1 and it does 66 dmg per bite when you have fresh blood it has 75 more health than alio and it can utilize water. But it's the worst 2 slot?😂
Conc is just one of those dinos that you have to get really good at to master it. I've seen good Concs beat Deino's and Rex's. Unfortunately though, a lot of people just wouldn't want to spend all that time getting good at Conc when you have things like Sucho and Cerato, etc.
I think Sharptooth Marsh was intended to be more popular and be a hotspot for aquatics to hangout but its a death trap for land dinos so nobody goes there except to cross it.
I hate that Alderon have Laten bias, and I'd rather play Deinonychus because I love the species Additionally, there is no way Pycno is tanky when it can lose half its health from a 5 foot drop. Also, Spino for S Tier?? Damn that's based!
The only grief I have with the tier list is the placement of spino, as someone whom has been playing it around since when it arrived to the game it is just so boring. Now before anyone jumps on me for my take I'd like to state that I love Spinosaurus as a dinosaur but I am of the opinion that its in a really bad spot in game. Spinos kit is really only focused around one singular thing and that's being tanky, it is full on just worse to build it any other way and that in of itself creates a boring playstyle. Spino only excels in one thing and fails at everything else ,it's hitbox is the size of a truck and so it's easily out turned by just about any other playable. Alongside this it's speed in the water and land are mediocre at best, the sail on its back makes it hard for it to ambush prey, its clunky size and turning make it hard to traverse smaller water eco systems. The worst of it is that its outclassed and done better by suchomimus as a "large semi aquatic" despite it being an apex, and it gets dog walked by any other apex that knows how to exploit how clunky it is. Spino is literally only good because its a bullet sponge not to dissimilar from current bars, imo Spino is in desperate need of an overhaul as it feels like playing a brick wall rather than a creature. And that sucks when you play semi realism or anything other than deathmatch because 90% of the time you sit there doing nothing because everything wont attack you knowing damn well that your defense is a living hell and your to damn slow to catch anything yourself. (EDIT: I know this comment is super long but its just because I like this animal so much and I wish it wasn't done so dirty, it has so much potential as a large semi aquatic and as been in the game for so long but despite this Sucho got revamped long before it which imo has led it to feel empty and outdated.)
Finally someone said it lol. Spino is an okay creature imo. I can see why people play it, but it just isn't for me tbh. The battles you get with Spino are either very boring, unfair, or just annoying. Again, I can see why people play it and such, but it's just not for me

Amarga is an insanely underrated solo dinosaur, it only really suffers from mobility in terms of weaknesses.

Yea I main kai and definitely think he underestimates how good kai is compared to eurhino. Plus it can get to more locations than eurhino can which diminishes it content issue quite a bit. Eurhino hard counters kai, but I'd prefer to play as kai vs anything else.

Stego shouldn’t be an S tier. Stego has no answer for a Suchomimus. Sucho is faster and once it gets the claw barage on a stego, the stego is finished. Stego is good against most everything else but there are a lot of Sucho players so its vulnerability to Suchos is a pretty big weakness.

My favorite for killing things in groups is raptors i like Lat over Achillo but i use both
For solo i like my spino but i think i like Sucho more than Spino because in a fight I'm squishy but with enough skill you tail ride everything decently and is really fast on land and sea compared to spino i chase a spino down in water and won was an intense close fight but i started to see its potential more that day.
I pretty much use sucho when i want to mess everything up in IC or something
Honestly cera is better then before in my opinion yes the bb was nice but like cera now has a kick,shove and all for one so now it's actually really good I'm a cera main and I can barely kill a lamb by my self which is easier said then done

Meg def needs some TLC but as a Meg main i still do very well. I dont agree with it being in D. I still kill Rexs or at the very least back them into a corner and they cant go anywhere. Still a very effective playable.
Imo, conc is very good.. i killed like 4 deino's and 2 sarco's with it (it took a lil bit of time to kill them all but i did it)
It is it has the best turn in the game with balanced claws and 1100 sprint speed 66 dmg bite with fresh blood and it's bleed is the best in the game it can also use water

Dasp is the peak carnivore right now. Apex killer mode with piercing bite and bone break, damage output stacks through the roof in packs. 4 tapping any apex with 4 tyrant roar stacks. Definately my favorite solo or support Dino!

I have a theory that we will get a 4th pterosaur in the next pack hear me out: we are currently lacking a niche in the official flyers: a dogfighting ace, and we would be in a bad ratio of flyers to aquatics: 4 flyers (if you count microraptor) and 5 swimmers (if you count sarcho) so adding a 4th flyer (5th if you count microraptor) would balance things up, my idea for it is a swimmer/areal pterosaur that’s frágil in the ground but a good swimmer and excellent in the air with a dive bomb ability that deals a ton lot of damage to anything it hits and cancels damage from collision with other dinosaurs and animals, Hatz’s stab but also usable on flight and peck barrage also usable on flight plus all of hatz’s front limb abilities, it would be faster than Thal in air with the stamina hatz has and it would take the seabird pterosaur niche as Thal gets a rework, I think this is 80% guaranteed trust me now which pterosaur will it be I don’t know but I’m hoping for my boio pteranodon Longiceps

"Laten's just a better deinonychus" I am now VERY offended. Deinonychus is much faster, much more agile and much more annoying. Deinony is so fun to play and it has so much more different abilities, so you can actually choose if you wanna be a trophy stealer that can outrun struthis or you wanna stay and 1v1 achillos. It's not like laten where all you have is just nighttime abilities.

I do like deinon but I’ve enjoyed laten more, tbf I do wish looking back I put them in equal tiers, but good! Just prefer playing laten for combat and deinon for harassing

i get your love for Stego, i as a Stego main would put it in S+ tier but to face the reality it sits with bars in a desperate need of a tlc. Its too squishy and deals way to little damage for what it is
Nah the dmg is good. The main problem is squishiness for it’s size.
@@xanshen9011 i must disagree on damage terms. it is currently 5k cw and deals less damage then Dasps default bite. atleast raise the damage of both attacks up by 20 to give it a little lethality for its incapability of attacking frontline. Squishiness deffo agree it feels like you play a 3k cw
@@caIamity Youre forgetting the fact that combat weight is more important then base damage. 5k combat weight creature will deal more damage then a 3.5k combat weight even if that playable has more base damage.

I'll say it's about B tier imho. A good one can definitely kill anything its size, but anything bigger (and faster) than it, it struggles with.

The problem with this tier list is that many dinos are only effective as solo or group, but not both. Alio, for example, can be rough solo but a group of them will ruin your day
I’m still hoping they give baby Dino’s some love, & I’d like to see abilities in each slot that are available for baby players to use, I spent most of my time playing a baby Meg at the bottom of juvie and I loved it, when I could benefit from the dive ability cuz I could use it to get away from all the murder hobos, if k couldn’t out run something, I could typically out swim it or vice versa, & the tiny caves aren’t that safe since any raptor can fit in there and compto players are constantly a pain cuz of that as well.
I actually don't mind the empty oceans at the moment. It's made growing my sarc a breeze lol
Raptors should receive the feathery hide ability that Struthiomimus got. I don't expect them to tank damage, but right now a single mistake in a hunt can mean instant death which I think is really unfair for a starter dino.
In my opinion, this feature of Struth's is unfair anyway, at least now that can be stacked 5 times, 3 could be ok. And, that raptors can easy kill dinos with +3 times its combat weight is also unfair.
About if starters should be always weak, I think is a marketing strategy to force players buy all the game or at least one dino package.

Conc is just one of those dinos that you have to get really good at to master it. I've seen good Concs beat Deino's and Rex's. Unfortunately though, a lot of people just wouldn't want to spend all that time getting good at Conc when you have things like Sucho and Cerato, etc.

I think Sharptooth Marsh was intended to be more popular and be a hotspot for aquatics to hangout but its a death trap for land dinos so nobody goes there except to cross it.

The only grief I have with the tier list is the placement of spino, as someone whom has been playing it around since when it arrived to the game it is just so boring. Now before anyone jumps on me for my take I'd like to state that I love Spinosaurus as a dinosaur but I am of the opinion that its in a really bad spot in game. Spinos kit is really only focused around one singular thing and that's being tanky, it is full on just worse to build it any other way and that in of itself creates a boring playstyle. Spino only excels in one thing and fails at everything else ,it's hitbox is the size of a truck and so it's easily out turned by just about any other playable. Alongside this it's speed in the water and land are mediocre at best, the sail on its back makes it hard for it to ambush prey, its clunky size and turning make it hard to traverse smaller water eco systems.
The worst of it is that its outclassed and done better by suchomimus as a "large semi aquatic" despite it being an apex, and it gets dog walked by any other apex that knows how to exploit how clunky it is. Spino is literally only good because its a bullet sponge not to dissimilar from current bars, imo Spino is in desperate need of an overhaul as it feels like playing a brick wall rather than a creature. And that sucks when you play semi realism or anything other than deathmatch because 90% of the time you sit there doing nothing because everything wont attack you knowing damn well that your defense is a living hell and your to damn slow to catch anything yourself.
(EDIT: I know this comment is super long but its just because I like this animal so much and I wish it wasn't done so dirty, it has so much potential as a large semi aquatic and as been in the game for so long but despite this Sucho got revamped long before it which imo has led it to feel empty and outdated.)
Finally someone said it lol. Spino is an okay creature imo. I can see why people play it, but it just isn't for me tbh.
The battles you get with Spino are either very boring, unfair, or just annoying. Again, I can see why people play it and such, but it's just not for me
