    my Opinion on the first one:
    it is expensive bc I compare always the average income and the cost of living of the region and around 900 USD is over the Edge... Yes it looks nice and it seems the Quality is pretty good but at the end of the day it just a room. If you rent a apartment you can hire someone to clean and I would bet its below 900 USD.
    I would say living in Da Nang shouldn't cost around 200 -500 USD per month for an apartment, depends on your needs... Do you agree?

    • @socialsamy
      @socialsamy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      100% agree with you. You could rent a room and buy all new custom furniture hire a person to clean and be cheaper in the long run

    Love your You tube videos Samy. You do an awesome job with great presentation and informative details.
    Would like to see a video on expat community, with even some interviews. What day to day life looks like for middle aged retirees in Danang.
    Even covering medical insurance plans retirees can purchase in Vietnam and their details
    Thanks, keep up the good work and enjoy your getaway to Thailand 😊

      the next video will be a video about a hospital and the procedure of me getting blood count done.
      The video after will be pros and cons interviewing 16 people :)

    Still haven’t seen any apartments/condos in Vietnam with Bangkok level of quality and finish.. even the 1k+ usd a month apartments in Vietnam pale in comparison to the 600 usd condos in Bangkok. Hope the quality/price ratio improves in the future 👏🏻

    • @socialsamy
      @socialsamy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes Da Nang is not comparable but that’s normal 1/10 of bkk and it’s basically a small beach city.

    I stayed in eco green which you could see from first hotel. Stayed for a few nights initially and ending up booking 30 more nights. Has small standing room balcony and sea view. It's simple but cosy imo in a good location if you want a hotel experience (no kitchen etc) + with a 30 day booking discount (book direct) it cost around 411k per night / just under $17 without breakfast option. Staff are super friendly and it has cafe downstairs which has quality food but higher price than avg. Aircon was silent. Occasional noise from grand sea view hotel but mostly fine. I saw you drinking coffee one time close to there and I really regret not saying hello, I wasn't feeling social, next time I will. And I'll be looking for an apartment.

    Sending out your laundry in Vietnam is so cheap why bother doing it yourself, very few have dryers. I think king sized beds are a waste of space in these small rooms, and hey I want my woman close to me, a double or queen bed is fine.
