  • I BET you've had this experience... You set up your camera, you step in front of it, ready to talk...
And BAM. Your real self takes a back seat, and PRESENTER you comes forward.
"Whatsup guys! My name's X and TODAY we're going to talk about... "
    haha. All too familiar right?
I went on an epic sunset mission to the park recently, and made a video about the 3 things I've found MOST useful in my journey to authenticity on camera.

Seriously, nobody presents this delicate yet incredibly important subject like you do. The soothing soundscape and nature shots in this one really amplified the message. Beautiful work Thomas

Thank you for this. Normally I do tutorials in stained- or fused glass, then my attention is with what I do all the time and explaining as I go along. I’m in the process of making my first travel vlog (convinced by my daughter) and all of a sudden I’m out of my comfort zone. This video of yours will definitely help

Hey Thomas your videos have been so helpful for my journey through filming myself. Taking on the 30 day film myself talking to camera challenge and I’ll def using your tips through this process. I’m always looking for ways to improve and your content has been my go to. Appreciate what you’re doing!

Glad to see these videos, Thomas. Thank you. They help me create more authentic videos - too often I'm focused on delivering the lesson instead of being myself and connecting with the viewer.

Absolutely beautiful explanation and tips (that word undermines the depth of what you just said!). I’m about to transition from talking to my gopro whilst doing what I LOVE (running) to my friends on IG to interviewing and creating videos for the engineering community and this video is PERFECT. So helpful; thank you. 🙏😊

I am that annoying trying to be a presenter person so thanks for this. 🤗 I want to add too that Daily Vloggers do seem better at this as they don’t think so much about what they are saying to get a video out, therefore coming over more natural.

    - [00:34] 🎥 Feeling like you're just mouthing words without authenticity on camera can be frustrating, but breaking out of presenter mode is possible.
    - [01:33] 😄 Infuse humor into your content to make yourself laugh and connect with your audience more authentically.
    - [04:37] 💡 Talk about topics that genuinely excite you to bring more passion and authenticity to your content.
    - [07:47] ❤ Connect with your emotions by doing a breathing exercise before filming and envisioning your audience to speak from the heart.
