- I really didn’t really wanna have to use the “but it’s only” format, but I couldn’t come up with anything else, and that’s the only thing that I could think of titling it. This took a total of 4 hours, while all being done on an iPad. There were many times where my storage was full, and so I had to delete a lot of photos and videos.

But passionate is maybe a bit of an understatement 😅
I saw acceleracers first when I was 14 (I am 31 now) and since then I saw these movies at least once a year.
What really stuck with me is the fact that every type of stereotype is present but they are so well written that you can see that none of them is just good or bad. There is no black or white.
You can hate nolo for being an idiot for causing so much tension but the moment Lani asked him why he hated the metal maniacs, his answer "just one...." showed that even he is reflecting. That just because tork I an evil guy in his eyes the other team members are somewhat ok.
After years I realized that Kurt was trying to have that kind of relationship that he should have with Mark. He tried to replace Mark with nolo but even for him it wasn't right.
Taro was still in love with Lani and vice versa but they knew they were not meant for each other. You can see it when he tells karma that he is "hard to talk to..." (or something like that) and for a moment he seemed to be really sad about what he just said. But after karma accepted that fact about him he warmed up pretty nice.
I could talk about these movies for hours. Maybe for days and I am happy that I can still enjoy them 🩵

HW35 Markie: small, skinny, looks like a high schooler
AcceleRacers Markie: tall, buff, looks like a gangster
Astonishing considering the series are canonically only two years apart. Markie spent two years in prison, so I assumed he went to prison right after the events of HW35, but not before spending all his prize money on steroids. I also assume Markie is around the same age as Vert or a bit older, then did he go to prison aged 16-18?
He might have been 18 around world race.
Late response but you would be surprised how much people can change in 2 years. 10th grade me and 12th grade me were pretty different
@@omega9555 Wylde was already tall and buff when he went into the prison (look at the flashback clips with Kurt), so he transformed in like a short amount of time between HW35 and AR.
I don’t think he ever did steroids but maybe get ripped naturally.
@@berandom2000 I think it would be impossible in a few weeks, maybe even days.. assuming Markie went into prison right after HW35, and he was already buff by then.

Danm, it's one thing for Mark to be a jerk to his brother Kurt, Kurt led him to get arrested and sent to prison, but the dude's a big jerk even to his own team, butting in on Tork and Nolo's race, not listening to orders much, rushing ahead of EVERYONE on the way to the Acceladrome, and challenging Tork for leadership just because he got pissed about taking orders. This often results in him rushing head first into a situation and getting close to being eliminated.

@@jacobpugpoirier3350 But hey, I'm glad Mark and Kurt worked things out in the end. I do find it funny with Mark ripping out Kurt's stereo from his car and casually saying "I never liked you're Tekku music anyway."
Mark was never a team player even in his HW35 days. Tried an impossible move on Vert and Alec in his first race and knocked them into a spin, where Lani sarcastically praised him after. He also went past the roadblock to chase Kurt instead of helping Taro and Banjee clear the road in the ice stage. He learned his lesson the hard way.

Idc what anyone says but Wylde’ car (Spinebuster) is the best and my favorite from the series rip Spinebuster (location of death: metro realm, cause of death: big drone sweeper 😭)

@@jacobpugpoirier3350 Nolo actually, he smashed Monkey's Rollin Thunder windshield, and Tork tells Monkey to takes Wylde's Spine Buster. Because Nolo mistaken Monkey's car was actually Tork's car.
