    Humphrey! This was a humpback whale that swam up the Sacramento River in Northern California, a few hours from Graeagle, not once but twice, in 1985 and 1990. He got lost and swam almost 70 miles upstream in a freshwater river! The media named him "Humphrey the Wayward Whale."

      @@BCpov I know that everybody in TH-cam comments acts like they're an expert on making TH-cam videos, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I've a lot of TH-camrs say that upload frequency plays a huge part in how the algorithm handles your uploads. Maybe a mix of more cinematic videos and "basic" riding videos would be a decent approach?
      Also, although it might be cringe, asking viewers to rate the video might really push engagement. The name suggestion-thing is a great idea already though!

  • @chiccorocker

    That's the kind of features I like to see. It's great to have bridges instead of gaps, so pretty much everybody can enjoy the feature. Experience raiders will simply gap the bridge, less experiences riders can give the gaps a try without high consequences if something goes wrong and newbies can simply enjoy riding the bridges and the whale tale without having to get to tires off the ground. Excellent work!

    In the past you said you would release less videos, but improve the quality. Nailed it. The the detail in the video is A grade.
    As for adding the bridges, prefect. you to took a trail that we (me and little one could ride) Added a feature that is 'almost anyone can ride' , like the first bit of trail, and yet made a it a huge progression and confidence building feature. something I'd want to ride. great stuff

  • @ctsingletrack
    @ctsingletrack 2 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    Name it "Monstro", after the whale that ate Pinocchio.
    On a side note, I ended up with the exact same scenario. I built a whale tale, and then had to add some tables before we could try it out. I made a video of us trying out that whole trail for the first time too. Love capturing that excitement and anxiety that comes with riding something not just for our first time, but the first time anyone has ridden untested features. Because at that point, you really don't even know it its possible.
