This story popped up on my phone, remember when it went missing as I was looking at getting one so I was looking at your review. Glad you got it back. I ended up with the Tenere700.

I have 2 friends with the T7, they both love them. But they admit they wouldn't take them on a TET in Spain and Portugal. They use them as road bikes.

well done for your perseverance, and well done to all those that aided you. like the way you feel about the bike has been out on a solo adventure.

Good effort, pleased you got it back. Hopefully it arrives in the UK without further issue. Seems like AJP are shooting themselves in the foot. A good concept that seems to be improving as fast as their reputation for service is declining.

Hi Mathew, Bike safe and sound back in the UK thanks. The bike is a great concept and actually in reality a great bike. I will continue to have great adventures on my PR7, however, its true the factory need to up their game. World wide supply chain issues are affecting everyone but their approach to customers and dealers really needs a shake up.

Why the thumbs down for the AJP factory, what did they have to do with it?

They generally were pretty unhelpful at liaising with any dealer in Romania, unhelpful at trying to recover a new frame plate. To be honest I think they had a change of personnel at the time and things went a bit astray. They have improved.

Yay! Helleva story. Any idea how many miles were put on it in your absence?

Hi, I don’t think it was ridden. Any damage appears to be made in transit.

I don’t think it had been ridden, the minor damage appears to have been caused by transit. Maybe 20-30 miles at the most by looking at the clock and condition.

Sad to hear AJP Portugal were not very supportive in your quest to retrieve your bike. Free BBC advertising too🤔

Yes, unfortunately, I feel they need someone in PR, the product is good but comms and Telmo in engineering is out of touch with the customer base. They really need to up their game and customer support. The AJP network and agents are real bike enthusiasts but at the moment the factory support for them is poor. I hate saying this but some head should be for the chop.zz

@@FitBones I have to say that we have similar problem in Portugal.
Poor costumer care, or dealers to "talk" to :|
I wish he do have a MHB here also... you are lucky guys regarding that
