Hello, I'm not sure exactly how to phrase this question. I work with clients and have to send them a sign-in sheet electronically. Now there is enough tabs on the template for multiple dates but I'm not sure if there's a way to set that up. Meaning I sent to them to sign for October 15th and they send it back to me and I have to send it back out to them on November 1st the same form. Is there a way to do that or do I have to send a new blank form every time? Ideally I would only have to upload to my work database once the lines are all full ( about 10 slots) instead of individually. I hope this question makes sense
Hello. When I create a new template, there is no option to add placeholders only add recipients as you would see when sending a normal envelope. Do you know why this is?

I am new to DocuSign and and admin, so I am sure there is an easy answer for this. When I go to create/edit custom fields on a document, my screen looks nothing like yours. For example, if I drag and drop a text field in my form, nothing shows up on the right when I click on it, thus I cannot name it or control it like you do in this recording. All I see is a thumbnail of the document. Is there an add-on or some setting you are using to expose these controls?
An envelope is a single use email. A template à is a reusable email that allows you to create envelopes quickly that contain documents, recipients and fields already saved
Hi I need to create text field in template with role as receive a copy, but the moment I select receive a copy in a template, the text fields come as grayed out. How to overcome this problem?
Receive a copy recipients cannot be assigned text fields since they don’t have the right to act ont the fields. Assign the text field to another recipient and make the fields read only if you do not want them to edit

You can technically do both, it really depends on your workflow!
