    I took one for a test ride & I'm pretty strongly considering it. I love the modern classic styling.
    Waiting for the 2024 Svartpilen 2024 to come into stock, that would be my other option if I buy new.

    I haven't seen the Speed 400 in the wild yet, but have seen a couple of the Scrambler 400s. I wish those bikes existed back when I got back into riding. It would have been hard to not buy one at that price point. I don't really see myself buying one now, but I will bring them up to people who are looking into getting into riding.

      I wouldn't mind having one in the garage to putter around town on. Great value.

    I've got a hold on this in Phantom Black, but am also considering transferring that to a RE Hunter 350 ($1800 CDN less). Returning rider, after 30 years. It's a tough call. Buying this coming week.

      Good luck! Regardless of the bike chosen, be safe out there and enjoy it!

    At that price, that is a whole lotta bike!! Not in the market for one, but I would consider it if one asked for a recommendation. Keep up the great content and RSMF.

      Yeah, it's impressive for what it is, even undercutting the "cheap" Honda 300s.

    I am from INDIA... Riding this motorcycle for the past 6 months... Good motorcycle for crushing and not for sports due to the handle bar is big and you cannot nimble but performance is awesome you can use 40 hp and twist with precision with good motorcycle ability and practice you can go❤

    Idk if you’ll see this but would you maybe make a video on how to clutch? Like specifically for this bike? I’m really thinking about getting this for my first bike but I can’t find a video about how to work the clutch on this bike. Hope anyone who reads this has a great day

      Hey I don't have access to one of these right off, but clutches can vary quite a bit. I think the one on that demo bike needed to be fine tuned a bit. I would say take the MSF course, cause once you learn how to use a clutch lever on one bike its not too bad to learn on another. Good luck!

    What revs do you change up at? It looked like you were holding it in 1st and 2nd longer than I do which might be where I'm going wrong with it. I change up early and driving at constant speed, low revs has a whole bunch of hesitation, not smooth.

    • @ghostontwowheels
      @ghostontwowheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Normally I shift earlier than most people, as I'm not a big revving person, but I'm some cases here I do hang on to a gear a little bit longer so that you get more power for the acceleration. I don't know the exact revs, different for every bike, but you can kind of feel when you're getting on the high end and need to shift. One of those things you feel out. Thanks for checking out the video!

    I have a speed twin 1200, looking to add a small cc bike in my collection, do you think the bike has enough power? Or just buy the 900?

    • @ghostontwowheels
      @ghostontwowheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really depends on what you mean by "enough power". This bike would not be great at long runs on the freeway, but it's certainly enough to get around town and have fun with. And it's comfortable! Thanks!

    Day 1 oil leakage, day 15 front mudguard guard came out, day 30 service centre guy sprayed wd 40 on brake pad boom brake failed. Such a non triumph experience in India

    • @ghostontwowheels
      @ghostontwowheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yikes... sounds like it could be a dealer issue who "assembled" it, but if not, that's a big problem for Triumph.

    Don't ride the middle of the lane like this rider.

    • @ghostontwowheels
      @ghostontwowheels  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Meh, I had run that circuit a couple times, it was in good shape. Plus at stops I scooted over to the side to avoid the oil drops. I wanted to focus on the ride and enjoy it rather than worry about hugging the mustard the whole time. But thanks though! Have a great day!

    Is this safe for new riders as starter bike? (zero bike experience)

    • @ghostontwowheels
      @ghostontwowheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I guess that depends on what you mean by "safe", but it's a tame bike, it won't get you in trouble if you twist the throttle too much. But it clearly doesn't have all the safety features as an expensive bike. That being said, is great if you're starting out: light weight, easy throttle, but enough power to get around.
