People don't care about ballads. Just look at Loona - Sonatine. For me, this is a masterpiece and my favorite song by them. It barely cracked 2 million views, and even Orbits pretend it never happened.

I'm really upset that there is going to be YET ANOTHER MINI ALBUM. -_- For fuck's sake, CUBE.....give the girls a full-length album!!! It's 2015! How many more mini albums are you going to have them do? It's ridiculous. What is the point in having a successful girl group if almost everything you let them release is a mini-album? Every, single year, it's a fucking mini album... If Cube does what they are supposed to do (properly) and put together a good range of decent songs, then I don't think the album will be a flop. Their mini albums have around 5/6 good songs....it won't be that hard for them to pull together 10/11 good songs for a full album.
I love hyuna, but I do get the feeling that CUBE put her in a pedestal... I'd love to see a 2YOON comeback for this year, I think the 2 yoon are the most talented in the group but are sometimes overshadow.
Daniel Nising at the biginning I was shocked and I still have problems watching the old episodes when Kishi still planned to have NaruSaku (yes he said it in an interview) but i don't really care anymore we still have fanfics ^^ though I kinda siupport SasuSaku more than NaruHina and even though I haven't watched The Last yet I think it sucks since it says that Naruto sometimes hung out with Hinata when they were kids when in the manga it says they didn't talk till the chunin exams and all that what about you?

+Afiqah Azim I think this also has to do with the fact that most idols don't rock red lips at all. The gradient lips are the most used style of lip makeup but I wonder why though? I mean I get that they sort of started it and/or made it popular but not only do they not do red lips but they barely ever fill in the entirety of their lips.
+Ian Night many groups debut with a less vibrant colour so they go for the gradient or lighter and sweet lip colours. Red is considered a sexy colour but I'm not sure why most female idols who have the sexy concept don't really look like they suit the colour although sexy is also known to be something mature.
Coming from a hardcore Blackjack, this looks and sounds NOTHING like 2NE1's Missing You. The only thing that *reminds* me of 2NE1 is the fashion, but anything else, not really. And if you're gonna bash on how the setting is similar, how else was it supposed to look? Like a field of flowers? I thought it was pretty original.

Thank you.... i'm also a Blackjack and Missing You is one of my best songs. i'm currently loving this 4 minute's "Cold Rain" but this song isn't like missing you at all. just because something is similar doesn't mean it's the same. Music is one cycle of similar beats and rhythm. People are just looking for something to argue about here.
Because the public only wants Hyuna..Gayoon and Jiyoon are talented but don't have any charisma or stage presence. The other 2 don't have 2Yoon's singing skills and also don't have any presence. Hyuna may not be able to sing or rap well but she can command a stage really well.

Jihyun's bits in this song sends a legitimate chill into my spine following Jiyoon's and Gayoons amazing collab. Hyuna's deep rap flows with raw emotion and So Hyun's part in the song almost rendered me in manly tears. Freaking love this!

I just can't say goodbye for the *most real girl groups in Kpop like 4minute and 2ne1* ... my heart is crying with no stop. My two favorites groups are officially disbanded, now the kpop is not the same if you compare it when I discovered it. *Now one pretty face has more value than good voice, dance or rap.* Good Luck for them and I will give them love like always but i can't listen their songs without feel devastated for everything, why CUBE? They are talented and you only give them contempt, You don't give them the value they have. IS SAD T.T
KPop groups come and go in cycles. You must enjoy them while you can because most of them don't last very long. For me I got into KPop with my favorite group Baby VoX, and as you can imagine it's changed much since when I discovered it as well. Although they are disbanded they still live on in their music and videos which I still enjoy to this day. I think the current generation (~2019) is definitely on a down-turn so you can't expect a hard hitting group like 4Minute at this time. But even in drought times like this there are a few gems scattered here and there (check out KARD). I suspect we will see another boom in maybe 3 or 4 years from now.
People say this everytime when their favorite groups disband, but instead of lamenting their disbandment, celebrate what they gave us. The former manager of 4 Minute just broke off from Cube and started his new group HOT ISSUE. Go stan them. Also, Hyuna is still making music, so feel free to support her. And if it's any consolation, there will always be a new group that captures your heart again. And if there isn't, you're just not looking hard enough. Trust me, I've been following kpop since the beginning with Seo Taiji, HOT, DJ DOC, Yoo Seung Joon, Cool, etc. It's always sad to say goodbye to a fave group; WIZ*ONES are having a meltdown right now over IZ*ONE's disbandment, and Naeun is rumored to be leaving Apink. It sucks, but look on the bright side - there are plenty of other groups that will carry the torch. Stan Stayc, Weeekly, Oh My Girl, Wooah, WJSN, Dreamcatcher, Gfriend, Loona, Lightsum, etc etc

This year 4 minute projects an image more mature and safe.The song is actually very melancholy, and at the same time very romantic and the concept of the MV is something cold, but very elegant. Maybe some people do not like this video and seem boring now that are accustomed to choreography and stage more eye-catching than this, but 4minute wants to try new things and conquer to public of all ages, you feel identified with their music. Congratulations 👏👏 I wish you good luck with this new concept of girls, to my charm since they have changed radically.
The mv is not boring but the song doesn't give ra big impact. CUBE needs to level up 4minute because they aren't getting younger and there's hundreds of kpop group that are competing for top spots in the industry. 4minute needs a g hit song that will mark them in the history. People are complaining so much about the screen time and the rapping. Weren't you all previously complaining about "Well, HyunA gets too many lines!" and "HyunA gets too much screentime!". Even that it was like her and the back-up dancers, and now you're finding different subjects to complain about or a different girl to whine about. For once, it would be nice if you could just appreciate that your group worked hard to make a comeback, and keep in mind that is impossible to have every girl have every line and be in the music video 100% of the time. It isn't wrong to voice your opinion, but if you're going to complain about something at least try and appreciate it first and be positive before you immediately rip it to shreds. This is a beautiful song, it's not perfect and I understand that, but there are plenty more ballad songs you could listen to if you have "such" a problem with this one. Personally, I feel as if this is a beautiful concept for these women. I am extremely surprised and thoroughly impressed. I think they blew this comeback out of the water. It was far beyond my expectations. I would definitely enjoy more ballads from 4Minute. They're extremely mature and beautiful ladies.

For those worries about Sohyun's lack of lines, she has a very high-pitched and nasal singing voice that wouldn't have worked with this ballad. Being that she is a terrific dancer and much-improved rapper, I would expect that she'll take a much more prominent role in the next song.

Because people can't get over a release without comparing to another group they like better in order to put down one group in order to feel superior. Leave them be, they're obviously trying hard to find things to hate on and confirm all their beliefs - which probably does them no good in the end.
People are saying it looks like 2ne1 missing you, not sounds :). To me, they sound completely different. Sure, the fashion seems alike, & the mood but if you watch this then ACTUALLY go watch missing you, the only alike things are the hats probs.
Because people don't know how to properly express themselves. What those people probably meant was that the video as a whole was reminiscent of 2NE1's Missing You which I can somewhat agree with. The whole concept of a sad simple song sang by girls wearing high fashion clothing in abandoned areas with faded color tones is similar. But, other than that, the songs and videos are different from each other.
I expect the usual 2Yoon pairing being dominant in 4minute ballads, but I was actually surprised just how many lines Gayoon got. Don't get me wrong I think she has an amazing voice, but I wish that maybe Sohyun could have left the rap to Hyuna and instead got some of Gayoon's non-chorus lines. Even though Jihyun wasn't completely forgotten like most of their songs lately, I still think an additional 1-2 lines could have been given to her as "doodoodoodoodoodoo" hardly seems like a line to me. Hopefully, their dance track will be more rounded. Did they ditch Brave Sound for this one or what? I'm kind of hoping to see some pre-what's your name type songs for their new album.
Also, does it seem like they could be planning a Sohyun solo single in the future? With all the extra emphasis on her rapping instead of singing lately (like in this song which had already had a good section of rapping from Hyuna covered or their rap remix of whatcha doin today) and the fact that she is more often seen in variety shows (to my knowledge) than the others. She has said before that she wants to have the kind of stage presence Hyuna has, so maybe she is going for a hip-hop rap style solo? I think it could work--depending on the song. Sometimes she sounds amazing rapping, and other times her cute voice doesn't work.

Ryan Buchanan Not sure what you are talking about here. Of all the groups I have watched who debuted prior to 2012, 4Minute is the group with the most balance of all of them. I have watched every single 4Minute video and commented many times how great it is that Hyuna does not hijack the spotlight when it would be so easy for her to do so. 2 Yoon get more than half the lines in every song and pretty close to half the camera time. Hyuna gets more camera time than she does lines, but she IS the face of the group. Sohyun used to get very little attention, but her time has been growing steadily. So, no... I just don't get where you are coming from here.

Also if you watch their earlier song, you could see that at that time 2ne1 is most unique group, compare to other kpop girl groups at that time. You could say they're badass. at the biginning I was shocked and I still have problems watching the old episodes when Kishi still planned to have NaruSaku (yes he said it in an interview) but i don't really care anymore we still have fanfics ^^ though I kinda siupport SasuSaku more than NaruHina and even though I haven't watched The Last yet I think it sucks since it says that Naruto sometimes hung out with Hinata when they were kids when in the manga it says they didn't talk till the chunin exams and all that

I mean I get that they sort of started it and/or made it popular but not only do they not do red lips but they barely ever fill in the entirety of their lips.

Red is considered a sexy colour but I'm not sure why most female idols who have the sexy concept don't really look like they suit the colour although sexy is also known to be something mature.

KPop groups come and go in cycles. You must enjoy them while you can because most of them don't last very long. For me I got into KPop with my favorite group Baby VoX, and as you can imagine it's changed much since when I discovered it as well. Although they are disbanded they still live on in their music and videos which I still enjoy to this day. I think the current generation (~2019) is definitely on a down-turn so you can't expect a hard hitting group like 4Minute at this time. But even in drought times like this there are a few gems scattered here and there (check out KARD). I suspect we will see another boom in maybe 3 or 4 years from now.

And if it's any consolation, there will always be a new group that captures your heart again. And if there isn't, you're just not looking hard enough. Trust me, I've been following kpop since the beginning with Seo Taiji, HOT, DJ DOC, Yoo Seung Joon, Cool, etc. It's always sad to say goodbye to a fave group; WIZ*ONES are having a meltdown right now over IZ*ONE's disbandment, and Naeun is rumored to be leaving Apink. It sucks, but look on the bright side - there are plenty of other groups that will carry the torch. Stan Stayc, Weeekly, Oh My Girl, Wooah, WJSN, Dreamcatcher, Gfriend, Loona, Lightsum, etc etc

This year 4 minute projects an image more mature and safe.The song is actually very melancholy, and at the same time very romantic and the concept of the MV is something cold, but very elegant. Maybe some people do not like this video and seem boring now that are accustomed to choreography and stage more eye-catching than this, but 4minute wants to try new things and conquer to public of all ages, you feel identified with their music.

People are complaining so much about the screen time and the rapping. Weren't you all previously complaining about "Well, HyunA gets too many lines!" and "HyunA gets too much screentime!". Even that it was like her and the back-up dancers, and now you're finding different subjects to complain about or a different girl to whine about. For once, it would be nice if you could just appreciate that your group worked hard to make a comeback, and keep in mind that is impossible to have every girl have every line and be in the music video 100% of the time. It isn't wrong to voice your opinion, but if you're going to complain about something at least try and appreciate it first and be positive before you immediately rip it to shreds. This is a beautiful song, it's not perfect and I understand that, but there are plenty more ballad songs you could listen to if you have "such" a problem with this one. Personally, I feel as if this is a beautiful concept for these women. I am extremely surprised and thoroughly impressed. I think they blew this comeback out of the water. It was far beyond my expectations. I would definitely enjoy more ballads from 4Minute. They're extremely mature and beautiful ladies.

For those worries about Sohyun's lack of lines, she has a very high-pitched and nasal singing voice that wouldn't have worked with this ballad. Being that she is a terrific dancer and much-improved rapper, I would expect that she'll take a much more prominent role in the next song.

Because people don't know how to properly express themselves. What those people probably meant was that the video as a whole was reminiscent of 2NE1's Missing You which I can somewhat agree with. The whole concept of a sad simple song sang by girls wearing high fashion clothing in abandoned areas with faded color tones is similar. But, other than that, the songs and videos are different from each other.

I expect the usual 2Yoon pairing being dominant in 4minute ballads, but I was actually surprised just how many lines Gayoon got. Don't get me wrong I think she has an amazing voice, but I wish that maybe Sohyun could have left the rap to Hyuna and instead got some of Gayoon's non-chorus lines. Even though Jihyun wasn't completely forgotten like most of their songs lately, I still think an additional 1-2 lines could have been given to her as "doodoodoodoodoodoo" hardly seems like a line to me. Hopefully, their dance track will be more rounded. Did they ditch Brave Sound for this one or what? I'm kind of hoping to see some pre-what's your name type songs for their new album.
Also, does it seem like they could be planning a Sohyun solo single in the future? With all the extra emphasis on her rapping instead of singing lately (like in this song which had already had a good section of rapping from Hyuna covered or their rap remix of whatcha doin today) and the fact that she is more often seen in variety shows (to my knowledge) than the others. She has said before that she wants to have the kind of stage presence Hyuna has, so maybe she is going for a hip-hop rap style solo? I think it could work--depending on the song. Sometimes she sounds amazing rapping, and other times her cute voice doesn't work.

Ryan Buchanan Not sure what you are talking about here. Of all the groups I have watched who debuted prior to 2012, 4Minute is the group with the most balance of all of them. I have watched every single 4Minute video and commented many times how great it is that Hyuna does not hijack the spotlight when it would be so easy for her to do so. 2 Yoon get more than half the lines in every song and pretty close to half the camera time. Hyuna gets more camera time than she does lines, but she IS the face of the group. Sohyun used to get very little attention, but her time has been growing steadily. So, no... I just don't get where you are coming from here.

***** Well the fact that 2ne1 haven't come back for so long like 2 to 3 years I think, so that's why with all the hype. Also if you watch their earlier song, you could see that at that time 2ne1 is most unique group, compare to other kpop girl groups at that time. You could say they're badass. Since YG is hip hop base their music is a little different from other group. Since their music getting super popular, (hip hop) instead of pop, other company starting to produce those kind of songs. 2ne1 didn't started it, but they're the first few group who did hip hop and success. Music is music, it doesn't belong to anyone so, I still think that's not right of BlackJack to say that other group copy 2ne1. At first I was ignorant for not letting other groups a listen, but now I'm super open to the other band. I discover like 4 bands this year that I fall deeply in love with. I'm originally YG stan, but they troll us ALL the time. But you should understand that fans here in kpop are super loyal, so they will start any war to keep their idols on the top. It's sad to say, but this the reality in Kpop. It's not the artist fault, but the fans. I don't think 2ne1 will care, because are super busy and they don't have time to worry about fan wars. Sorry talking too much, I really crazy with these kind of stuff. XD

Blackjacks, I love 2ne1 just as much as you do, but comparing 4minute's 'Cold Rain' to 2ne1's 'Missing You' and saying 4minute copied 2ne1 because of some clothes and the fact that both are ballad songs is ridiculous. You guys are literally grabbing at air trying to find something to complain about in their comeback. Plenty of people sing ballads; plenty of people wear clothes like that. Are they copying 2ne1? Nope! Get over it and get over yourselves. 2ne1 may be the most well known girl group in kpop, they are, but that doesn't mean everyone wants to be like them. Just saying. (And btw, I love both songs and keep them on repeat. There aren't many similarities between these two songs.)
It’s so annoying to read, copy, copy copy, plagiarism grasped out the thin air - especially when you know, that’s the clothes is extremely trendy right now and most idols wears this type of clothes on the red carpet and have done so since late 2013.

I love 2NE1 too, and the only thing on similarities I see and hear is that the songs are both ballads, and that they are beautiful, but both in their very own way.
