Ya know what...sometimes my Insta feed decides what I NEED to see. I'll be in NYC for NYC Marathon. ACK! Im staying at Pod 51 (hotel) btw 2nd & 3rd Ave's. Lately Ive been alerted to some charming tucked away free public spaces...little "parks". Ive saved them so I can check em out when Im there in November. #1 is Paley Park @ #3 E 53rd St. There's waterfall! Next is Greenacre Park #217 E 53rd St! Next is Cohen Park #121E 57th St btw Park & Lex. Another waterfall! ALL are free outdoor parks. Walking distance to Central Park. Ive actually been to Cohen Park a few times. Just stumbled onto it on my walk home from the gym one day. all of them are A little Oasis...close enuf but on the outskirts of Central Park South & 5th Ave tourist traffic. If you decide to explore these free peaceful outdoor places in another video please check these spots out! I was LEGIT panicking when you didn't upload yet ngl. I need a weekly Chill Chelsea Video to keep me grounded & connected to YOUR chill vibes!
Have you ever taken the train from Queens to Nassau County? There’s a park that’s just as big as Central Park called Eisenhower Park. I highly recommend checking it out.
You seem like a nice person. You need a good man to settle down with! Not your 6 figure 6'4 banker types or your bad boy biker types but a *good* kind type of man
We SO appreciate you vlogging in public! It's so fun to go along with you, and definitely appreciate that it must not always be the most comfy thing to just whip out a camera and start talking to it with people literally right next to you. Thanks for a fun day!
I love the way you select music for specific portions of the video, it really helps convey the mood. Watching you grow and evolve as a content creator is a joy!
I don’t typically comment but you have become my favorite TH-cam channel to watch because you are so comforting. I’ve watched ALL your videos in the past two months and I’m so sick that it isn’t more for me to catch up on lol. Thank you so much for the content girl. 💛
That hair suits you so well and I think it brings out your beauty and those lashes….so pretty. What I like most about your channel is your authenticity and how you’re so transparent. That’s what sets your channel apart from others. I feel like I’m just hanging with a friend…..you’re so honest and you share your truths and your good and bad days……..your channel is one of my faves.
I remember you when you were so nervous about doing any filming in public and that you had all sorts of thoughts/feelings/stories about it ... and then here you are standing in a public area ... doing your thing ... yay Chelsea !!!
your videos are so therapeutic. the relaxed care free nature, the music, the footage. I no longer live in new york city but thanks to your posts I no longer have to miss it. thanks for bringing us on your journey chelsea
Thanks for showing how beautiful NYC is. There's been this small trend of talking about how bad it is here, and like you said, it has plenty of issues, but this vlog shows why it can be worth it to live here.
I love these NYC videos, I miss that city every day!! These videos are so fun to watch and you are so laid back and comfortable filming in public (just in general i feel like you radiate so much comfort and confidence). And just some appreciation for blurring out people on video, really shows how considerate you are!! Playing pool on your own and getting a little drink after is giving main character. And the croissant while there's jazz music playing in the park, isnt that just perfect😭 Idk what it is girl but you're just the coolest person to me. Was having such a bad few days but this snapped me out of it for a good 25 minutes and 11 seconds. Love you! xx💕
Happy sigh after happy sigh. Ah, New York. It still has my heart in the palm of its crazy wonderful hand. Well, in truth I think my heart belongs to Gordo now, but NYC is definitely in second place. 😻Thank you, Chelsea, for another New York adventure that tugged my heartstrings and made me nostalgic for my own outings back in the day. This month (June) marks ten years since I moved back out of New York and I swear I experienced a solid two years of heavy NY homesickness. Thank you for sharing your New York with those of us who miss her so damn much! Clink Freakin’ Clink! ☕️🗽☕️

I moved to LA three months ago after living in NY for over a decade, and your vlog is bringing me comfort. I've missed the city a bit for the last couple days.
Hi Chelsea ! I really love when you take us around NYC with you... It's like spending a nice day out with a friend ! It's lovely. Also... Hi from France 🇫🇷 💫
The last time I was in NYC was during a sweltering heatwave. Never again. The best time of year is the fall when the air gets crisp. Second best is the holiday season. BTW, you've gotten so good and natural talking to the camera. Love the channel.
We went last September. It was a perfect time to go. Very little humidity, except the first day we were there. A big thunderstorm rolled in, otherwise beautiful weather!
I used to go to NYC every summer as a kid to stay with my Uncle and Aunt in the Upper West Side. It was always sticky hot and even as a kid I was “ugh”, but still, I LOVED the city. Then, as an adult I made my first holiday season trip there and I was like, “ohhh yeah, THIS is where it’s AT!” I’ve never experienced the city in Spring or Fall, hopefully someday! Central Park always pulls at my strings, the seasons there must be a wonderful thing to take in! Aw man, I miss New York! 🥹
@@megmulholland4518 My best visit was in late October. Central Park was beautifully colored foliage, the nighttime air was cool and crisp, it was also Halloween in the Village, and the Yankees/Sox World Series was happening, plus the NYC Marathon. The city was vibrant and on the verge of the the holiday season. Second best was Thanksgiving Day and the week following. Beautiful time.
@@roxtar38 aww, I love this ☺️ You've given me something to hold on to, to look forward to, someday... late October in Central Park 🍂 💖 and all that comes at that time of year in the city 🥰
My old summer neighborhood! I lived at 53rd and 3rd every summer from 71-75. My aunt had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment (with a great terrace!) in The Hawthorne House. It recently sold for 1.2 million! Man times have changed!
Saved this video as reference for my NYC trip I just finished. Chelsea did not steer me wrong. Loved everything especially Devocion coffee which was as even a hit with my husband who is a “used to roast his own beans” level of coffee fanatic. Thanks Chelsea for sharing your tips and making for a wonderful trip!
I don't live in NYC but seeing you go around and having fun by yourself exploring your city always inspires me and my hubby to out and explore our locality. It's fun! Central Park, for me, epitomizes NYC. We made sure to go there when we went last year. Lots of people, but it never felt crowded. And we were blessed with a beautiful, warm sunny day. Great video. Makes me want to go back. ❤
I love these NYC videos, I used to visit the city semi regularly when I lived on the eat coast. My favorite places to visit are Chelsea Market and Museum at FIT.
