This is such a beautiful original song from Tim. He is a wonderful songwriter. This song was originally on Tim's solo album before joining Home Free called "The Best That I Could Do". Nice to see it redone with Home Free. Love Adam's percussion!

This song belongs on the radio!!! Tim’s voice sounds amazing on this, the background harmonies are perfection, Chance’s bass was amazing and as always our alien beatboxer nailed it! Home Free at their best! Love these boys! ❤

This amazing song is an original written by Tim.
Home Free announced Austin will be leaving and Adam Bastien Aka Bastien will be taking his place.
Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave
Bastien will be doing his first concerts with Home Free this weekend June 21 at the Country Rumble Festival in Lima,Ohio then The Grand Ol Opry
There are now 3 Adam’s in the group so they now opted to call them by their last names so it’s less confusing.

They are super talented. Three songwriters in the group and all wonderful singers. Austin is leaving the group soon but they have his replacement joining soon, Adam Bastien. He’s also a songwriter so it will be interesting. Tim writes another beautiful song and he does have great range. Good to see you again! 😍😄

This song will always be one of my favorites of Tim's. He's written a lot of great songs. Other good ones are, "What's Left of my Heart", "Champagne Taste (on a Beer Budget)", and "Good Ol' Country Harmony". And those are just the ones he rearranged for HF. Love them all. Lovin' your reactions! Thx!

This is such a beautiful song. Tim is an amazing songwriter; he actually had a job as a songwriter some years before he joined Home Free and they have by now many originals, most of them written by either Tim and Austin, like Understand or Remember My Name.
Austin has left by now and Adam Bell-Bastien joined them. Not sure if Bastien is a songwriter as well, but hopefully there will be many more originals, even if they are reduced in songwriters in the group. We'll see.

Great reaction to this beautifully written and sung original song! #HomeFree never disappoints and they’ve got so many great originals (in addition to all their great collaborations.
I think you’d get a big kick out of Tim’s, Might As Well Be Me but you have to promise to pause during your reaction to read their “bios” and written answers for even more fun and hilarity. It’s pricelss! 😅 Another fun Tim original, if you haven’t yet is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget which I believe was done not too long after they won Season 3 of The Sing-Off, with a bonus cameo.
Please also add the following 3 originals (in this order as there’s a small thread 🧵 tying them together):
    Catch Me If You Can
    Dive Bar Saints, and
    Leave This Town
And for some fantastic Austin originals you must check out:
Love Me Like That - the nicest break-up/thank you for what we shared song ever; and his Stargazer Trilogy:
Chapter 1 - Give Me A Sign (a prayer to find new love)
Chapter 2 - Stargazer Lilies (a dream about new love); and
Chapter 3 - Mr. (finding true love)!
Lastly Austin’s song, Playing With Fire (what happens when you’ve found your true love)! ❤️‍🔥😉

While HF's harmonies are always top notch, some songs just are 'more'. This doesn't deviate too much from their 2014 recording, but it is fuller in the harmonies. And age hasn't hurt any of their voices.
While Tim often writes from an autobiographical standpoint (Road Sweet Road, So Long Dixie, etc.) this could probably be the theme song of just about any young singer on tour. He wrote this long before he joined HF, but he had been traveling around the US and the world for his career.
There should be new videos released soon - they have filmed the last of the videos from the Crazy(er) Life album, they are the last that Austin will be in, and have begun filming with their new fifth man - Adam Bell-Bastien (to be called Bastien) - a very talented high tenor.

I’ve loved this song from the first Tim I heard it on Tim’s solo album The Best I Could do. Every time I heard him sing it live, on the Crazy Life album, but this, this version simple sends shivers down my body. It sweet, simple soulful. Gorgeous.

i had heard their previous recording of this many times and I, too, was amazed by this one. I don't know if it's the production or the mixing or the fact that Chance is in the group now so there's another deep voice, but it sounds so much richer and rounded. Another winner from the guys.

Tim co-wrote this one - he is such a talented singer/songwriter/musician (he often plays piano on his channel). As always, the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific. There's also a live version of them singing this on their 2014 Crazy Life tour. BTW, if you haven't seen the "Crazy Life (Lego Video)" - it's a must see. Although I'm sure Adam Bastien will be a great addition to the band, Austin is gonna be a tough act for him to follow.

I’d like to think that if Tim hadn’t joined Home Free, we’d be hearing him as a solo artist on country radio stations. But according to his story in some interviews, he was never a big country fan, and only wrote country songs because he was obligated to. Whether under protest or not, he has an incredible talent for writing and singing some of the best country music I’ve ever heard.
I’m glad he’s with Home Free, but if he ever leaves, I hope he’ll make my favorite genre of music: Country.
P.S. I’m heartbroken that Austin is leaving the group. In my opinion, his part is a defining pillar of what makes this group phenomenal. They can be great without him, but I worry that they’ll lose a magical element of their identity. I’ll try to be open-minded about what Adam Bastien can bring (back) to them, but it’s going to be very hard. I think I’ll likely have to view them as two different groups. Home Free as I knew them, and Home Free “Part Deux.”
