I remember reading a few comments that suggested that although the Krenim torpedos could penetrate shields, they weren't of a very high yield. I guess pretty much akin to lots of wasp stings. In universe I imagine that's why Voyager survived for as long as it did.
Thanks for sharing that, makes a lot of sense. Months of attacks with no shields! I wonder how a ship designed before the Anti-Borg development phase would have fared? An Ambassador or New Orleans would have had a hard time.
@@RetroBadgerGaming Definitely. I can't think if Voyager had a fairly average cruising speed, but I definitely can't think of any other ships at that time near matching its top speed. Did Voyager have much anti borg hardware at that time with seven of nine on board? Yeah, I wish they'd gone with her human name
Thanks! If only they'd remembered that when the Year of Hell happened. You would have thought Kes would have told them, she did after all warn Janeway about the Krenim. I suppose though as Kes wasn't present during the Year of Hell in the normal timeline, things were different. Maybe the Krenim would have adapted eventually? Luckily Janeway and BLT weren't killed in the normal timeline 🖖
😲Hey Admiral. gosh. Imagine if Janeway had this version.. eeh.. wow. Yes I forgot the Krenim smaller ships, I remember the big time ship that ''Year of Hell, '' but hmm. and your RBG Intrepid is powerful wow. Very nice tactics Admiral.. gosh.. both ways.. wicked. Yes, that show 1 and 2 was insane, gosh, .. Love the battle..!!😊🖖
💗😍 super interesting video! I'm always interested to see what Dominion War-upgraded versions of our favorite hero vessels can do. I wish we saw more Intrepid, Akira, Norway, Steamrunner, Galaxy, and Sovereign classes, etc. in the Dominion War scenes on DS9. You know... Basically make me believe it occurs in the TNG /immediately-post-TNG era, rather than presenting me with 99% Excelsiors+Mirandas with one or two galaxies peppered in.
It would be nice if the game was set up that if you lost it continued and you can see if your side would have won or not. Just because your ship got destroyed there's still two others in the fight!!!
That battle would be quite overpowered if this version had the temporal shields Seven designed. Otherwise. I always love to see an Interprid firing quantum torpedos.
Did you guys know that the same writers for voy also worte for discovery? And if memory serves me they were responsible for the discovery's endless craft launching. So I highly doubt they would hve run out of torpedos on voyager as we all know they would have magically been replaced after the commerical break, lol After all remember how after every episode their damage magically was repaired on the Voyager even if they had very little resources to work with. "Continuity? We don't need no stinking continuity!" - voy writers
I didn't think your trick would work, because three-on-one is a tough fight for an Intrepid, considering you said they had torpedoes that would go right through the shields. However, this is one time I'm happy to be proven wrong.
Second half of Enterprise season 3 was definitely a reaction to not being able to stretch Year of Hell out for a whole season. They had basically nothing to lose with cancellation hanging over their heads, so they jsut went for it.
If i've learned one thing while watching Voyager: You don't get between Janeway and her Coffee! Things'll turn ugly fast! Nice one, Badger. Is it just me or did the Voyager just evaporate the Krenim's shields when you fought againt her? Maybe even more so when you controlled her. Might just be my imagination though...
Would be Nice to Play Bridge Commander online Agen. i Was im a Massive clan called SFX we all had ranks .It was so much fun .I miss the old days i still have my copy of Bridge Commander
The fact that this game didn't get a remaster angers me. I still remember the times when I could just install it without 8192 fixes to make the game actually run. As well as it running in probably about 20fps xD
@@chadbizeau5997 So it is the same engine as Terminator Future Shock?! God damn... That engine was old when that ST game was released. But explains why it took so many good mods to improve the game beyond the base we got.

As a casual Star trek fan, it would be great if you could take a few minutes to get me up to speed a bit on who each side is. 😀. I’m at the level of classic Star Trek and next generation. It would make your vids a bit more accessible to me. I’m just after a few mins…not enough to throw off your flow I hope.

They were remodulated their targeting scanners to a parametric frequency! To destroy the torpedoes before they fired

Thank god the Intrepid has no cloak😅

It would be cool if you take Voyager to get support ship. See what it does for quantine torpedoes
Everyone would probably be pissed if year of hell was a season long just to end with no one remembering it happened.

The engine it runs on is ancient too. It's the same one The Elder Scrolls games are based on. Which is why it has such nasty memory leaks.

Anyone know if there is a dark timeline scimitar?
Not to my knowledge. That would be something!
