    Okay I've been watching you after I watched the video and recently purchased Erins books from floret.
    I have a southern sunny beautiful ready homestead for growing. We've been here 2 years in a 16 by 20 cabin. We have no electricity or running water yet as our home is being built. I am totally inspired to just do a road side stand in the cute village of Shelburne Falls where we lived we are now in Vermont only 20 minutes from town. I decided to try what you suggested the double cosmos zinnias and some sunflowers. My husband is getting the rows ready for me as this will keep me busy while he's building plus we grow our own food. We chose this life style so that we have very little bills and an option to live a better life just a lot more work but a better life. thanks for your videos I need to learn how to cut these flowers and harvest them. I have so much to learn and I hopeI can do a small stand to start.

I'll be cheering you on this season as you experiment with what works for you- I have no doubt it will be beautiful!

    It was great seeing how you get set up for the sale, it looked wonderful💐
    I was given a gazebo the same as the one you use, it was so difficult to get it to expand😬
    Loved the content

      Thank you so much for the kind words! And yes, those canopy's can be a little tricky.. I've learned that ours goes up better when you have two people doing it ;)

    Thank you for this Brittney, doing our first Farmers Market this year. This was helpful in preparing :) as always, great video!! Curious as to how many bouquets you brought with you? Thanks for links too!

      Wahoo.. that's exciting! This particular market that I showed in this video, I didn't bring too terribly many. We were invited to this market, but if I remember correctly it was in late June when the bulk of our flowers were still not in bloom. I think I only had 15 or 20 arrangements- but I always say it never hurts to bring as many as you can :)

    Great video. How many arrangements did you make and how do you plan how many bouquets to make
    What is average pricing

    Where do you get the black flower buckets?

    • @twosistersflowerfarm
      @twosistersflowerfarm  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can find black floral buckets at Johnny's Selected Seeds or A-Roo... if you scroll back a ways, I do have a video that shares more detail about "Where I Source all My Cut Flower Supplies"- I know I talk about black buckets there too :)

    I am curious about the gift for u. Can u talk a little about that?

    • @twosistersflowerfarm
      @twosistersflowerfarm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Of course! We offer Bouquet Subscriptions during the summer. I've noticed that around Christmas and Mother's Day, a lot of customers like to use our subscriptions as gifts to other people. We wrap these gift cards that we print out in kraft paper boxes so that the recipients have something fun to open while they wait for their subscriptions to start in the summer months.

      Believe it or not I print everything right at my nearest Staples 💛 I’ve shopped around a little bit but Staples has always had the lowest price for our A-Frame sign and even our small signs 😀

    I'm concerned about the birds and the grasshoppers that ate my zinnia Petals last year. I tried neem.oil and dytimatious earth. Spelling don't know..

    • @twosistersflowerfarm
      @twosistersflowerfarm  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Grasshoppers sure can be a pain! It's incredible how much those tiny pests can eat in a day. I'm not sure if there's any truth to this old wives' tale- but back in my early days of growing, a friend of mine suggested growing marigolds within my garden to keep pests at bay. Not sure if it's coincidence or if there's science behind it but the number of grasshoppers in my garden seems significantly less once I started growing marigolds.
