I was just walking through and he was just laying there not barking while all the other dogs were just going off. I thought I should take him home. Got him home and after the adjustment period he has been a great companion!

They call it impressions when a thumbnail shows up on someone’s feed. Last week video had 1500 impressions and this week’s is at 12,000 and still going. No idea why….
Are those black astrolorp chickens? if so they lay jumbo eggs. I had a particularly clever red fox chew his way thru some netting 6 ft in the air over my coop and went in and ate his fill of chicken heads unable to take any with him because of the precarious way he had to exit. Killed 7 out of 20 and injured another. Had they been in the open they may have avoided him but he had them cooped up like fish in a barrel. I've had chickens now here at my cabin in Alaska for ten years now. I'm 68. Same fox killed4 of my pullets earlier this summer and took them home to feed the pups. There are OTHER chicken coops in the area. This one is particularly smart and climbs well. It snowed recently so I could see all her tracks. She was even up on a shed roof looking for a way thru the netting and when it wasn't there she chewed one. I have a big live trap out using a dead frozen chicken for bait but I doubt if she will walk into it. I've seen other foxes that couldn't even catch a chicken in the open hardly but this one is particularly agile and quick and cunning .I ferment their food sometimes Chicken feed is 30 dollars or more for 50 lbs. Where can I get a drone like the one you have?? Do you have a amazon link?

@@johnpeavy5710 never thought about that. I’ve been mixing it with wood chips. I’ll clean out the coop one more time before winter. Have 4 more chickens this winter and it’s amazing how much more Pooh they create, the pest moss really helps keep the smell down.

@@Rescueluv it was a black bear. The window was partially open a couple inches when the bear tried to get in. The wire for that window was placed inside the coup leaving the window exposed. The other window had the wire outside the coup covering the window. The bear grabbed the partially open window and that was the end of it. I’ll show it better on my next video. Thanks for asking because I sometimes don’t explain things right…lol I don’t know how to forage for mushrooms. My youngest sister is planning on coming over to show me how. Kinda learning as I go.

You ARE using peat moss in the chicken house. Good move! I assume you put the used peat moss in your compost pile.
