Great inspiration. ❤. Love this. I do a lot of eco works. Haven’t done much with cloth and stitching. Inspired to go at it. ❤

What a spectacularly beautiful and unique work of art. The combination of thestitching and the eco-dying is a match made in Heaven. Love it! Your journal will be so special!

I’m in love with your wrap, too, Lisbeth. It is BEAUTIFUL. ❤ Thankyou for the video. 🙏 Always so many ideas to think about. Keeping the signatures loose is definitely something I will do. I already have a book cover/wrap I can adapt.

Thanks for this. I love the cover and a great use for scraps. You might consider using a thin, ie - elastic belly band instead of the pamphlet stitch to bind the pages, Each page within the signature is loose and can easily be removed. As the pages are filled with work the thickness holds the pages under the belly band reasonably tight. This works well. I've also used Ann Woods Sloth and Tab method in both fabric and paper successfully. The beauty of this method is the pages then lay flat. Thanks Lisbeth for sharing the work you do. You are an inspiration. Best wishes for the new year.

I have definitely been inspired. Your slow stitched cover is beautiful.
Stitching, rusty bits and in a tea bath for a few days would be easy for those who don't want to go down the eco printing route.
Lisbeth, did you stitch strips onto a foundation cloth or did you stitch strips of fabric etc together?

Fabulous cover… I believe you said that you took strips and sewed them together and then added the stitching?

      Hello Amsterdam
Here is how I made the journal , I will use for my pieces I will do in the - Stitched Circle Show Challenge 2025. It begins the 2. January. If you want to participate join the group Dogme broderi /Dogma embroidery. You won’t be approved if you don’t answer the questions. You don’t need this journal to participate. There will be a new challenge every Thursday with a video with the dogma rules on my channel and also a post with the dogma rules in the group.
