Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate them. I’ve thought about making a separate video for Sinbad because he’s my favourite character from the series, but I haven’t read the sinbad manga (only watched the anime). So I feel like I’d need to read it all to understand his character better. Either way than you for watching!
Great video man. I subbed you. Magi is one of my favorite anime's of all time and it's really a shame how forgotten it's been. Only real way I could see it getting a 3rd season is if Orient becomes very saucerful or Netflix decides to pick it up like how they did with other anime's.
Yeah I started to like their characters a lot more as the manga went on. People should definitely read the manga because there was sooo much that the anime never adapted. Also thank you for watching!
Yeah I think you’re right. Honestly with bleach coming back and devil is a part timer getting a season 2. It doesn’t seem impossible for Magi to get another season. The manga may be over, but it was a popular series when it was still ongoing. So I think the fan base would come back or even grow if it got fully adapted. Hopefully we can see that happen someday. Also thank you for watching!
im glad someone also thinks magi is amazing.. im praying that if orient gets popular it will shoot magi up into popularity again and there may be a chance.. I really want to see the manga animated
Yeah it would be great if more people knew about Shinobu Ohtaka’s manga. Orient gaining popularity would definitely bring more eyes onto her other stuff as well. Hopefully Magi gets a continuation one day.
I am Magi trash. I love Magi. I think the fandom needs more content so we don't forget that Magi is a great manga that had a suched ending, but that could be fixed with an anime adaptation to fill in the pieces. We need to push for a third season as a community! Imo Judar was such a tragic character, that deserves as much consideration as Sinbad, since he is there since the adventures of Sinbad Manga. I think the Magi anime fails to portrait just how complex this character is. I also love the whole Koe empire ideals against Sinbad ideals, cause they all wanted just one king (same as Alma Torran wanted 1 king), and yet failed. They all failed and Kougyoku had the answer. They had to share the burden of the new peaceful world Sinbad had created, together. That blows my mind.
Yeah with a bunch of older manga getting remakes or final seasons to finish adapting the source material ex. Bleach, Shaman King, Inuyasha etc.. It's definitely possible that it could happen for Magi as well. Its something that I hope for as a fan of the series as well. I think if Shinobu Ohtaka's new series Orient has a successful anime. It could bring more attention to her other works as well and potentially continue the Magi anime if enough people are interested. Thank you for watching!
Yeah I think you’re right about both points. Magi is really unlikely to get another season at this point. The manga ended a while ago and the second season aired like 6 years ago. If Orient is successful, it could make more people interested in Shinobu Ohtaka’s work overall. Making an anime revival more likely. Which is what I hope for as a fan. I’ll definitely be watching Orient weekly whenever it airs to show my support.
Yeah I think that you’re talking about Orient? It’s the new manga by Shinobu Ohtaka. It’s getting an anime soon. I have a video about the series coming soon later this week. So hopefully you stick around for that. Either way, thank you for watching!
The anime is alright, but when my only experience with anime is Ghibli movies and hall of fame titles like FMAB, Steins;Gate and so on. The writing leaves so much to be desired. It doesn't really try to do anything new, or do anything old any better than other shows. Magi is just a cool idea bundled up into another generic shounen. But that's just me, looking at why you and so many other liek this show. Because of things like power levels, visually excessive fights, goofy fan service humour and RPG esque world building. It's pretty clear that what you and I want out of a story are two very different things.
We need more Magi content like this. Maybe a character analysis about Sinbad, Hakuryuu, Alibaba etc. would be interesting

Y’all, we gotta start sharing this. The more popularity it gets the more of chance for another season lol
Summed it up amazingly

If everything in the manga was animated ... I bet this anime will be popular and many TH-camr will react to it..

Definitely my favorite manga of all time. Nice vid!
It's a shame Magi will never get a third season. Let's hope Orient gains enough traction that studios look back at Magi and pick it back up!
