Ugh I miss sinbad and the entire cast. I see Sinbad as both an inspiration and a lesson. He is hardworking, witty, charismatic, cunning and built to be king. I was pretty much smitten by his third appearance on the show. I never see magi get any love, it pains me I will never see the djinns and this world building come to life.
@@AttackonTiago well yeah,he is a villain, his character is meant to be,he admitted that he was wrong in the manga to what he did But he did all of it just for peace. He is one of the most xooolest I say he is much more cooler than a villain like Madara
@@SNNewsIndia170 He is a villain because he intentionally tried to kill everyone in the world in order to achieve his own ambitions, as well as the fact that he made the entire world bend down to his will as a dictator. I think that can be said to be pretty much objectively evil. Still I love him very much, and know he did it because he truly believed that he was in the right. That doesn't make him good though
I would call him neither/both. He's the embodiment of a duality, eventually deciding to combine those feelings with his belief that he established over time that he's entitled and the only one capable of ruling the world. This depravity is further influenced by David, and it is him who truly made Sinbad go off the edge and try to break through the extra-dimensional construct - known as the sacred palace - through absorbing everyone and their rukh. Although he was swayed by the light that is Aladdin and Alibaba, and regained that balance, instead choosing to side with good and sacrifice himself. That's how I see it anyways.
In the show, one guy said Sinbad was manipulated. He does put certain ideas in your head tho. But on the other hand, he gave people he rule a better life. I have to say he is neither a Hero nor a Villain. He is just a good king. It's hard to rule millions of people and keep them under control. I guess sometimes you gonna have to manipulate them to keep them under control if things come to it.
Well, he is definitely a antagonist, but a villain or evil guy? Nah bro is a GOD, a First-Class Singularity, unbound by date and can choose his own path down it, unfortunately that doesn’t mean he knows the road, he just knows where the finish line is, and in the end, he stopped himself from fully committing to his ultimate utopia, because the world isn’t perfect, and neither is he
I really like the video but I feel like mentioning how he becomes by the end of the Magi manga is crucial to understanding and appreciating his character. Great job though it’s nice to see a small creator make his way up. Kinda like Sinbad lol
I like to put him under the villain like hero who not totally evil but need to understand it impossible for one man to choose for the what is right for the whole world it the people
Idk if op is joking or not but this is a pretty sound comparison; a “rags to riches” story, fighting against “tyranny” and winning against the odds, becoming a major superpower in the world, and becoming power hungry and misusing their power to attempt to align the world to their own philosophy (the “my way is right” that was mentioned in the video) Btw, good video! Your analysis was really interesting and your points were on the mark. Personally, I’d never call Sinbad a villain, but he doesn’t fall completely on the side of heroism either. He’s a really fascinating character that explores the question of “how much is too much?” and I think you summarized the points well.

for real! i wish there was a season 3
@@AttackonTiago theres a season 3
@@GorgeousHotRat thats the sinbad spinoff, otherwise no
Sinbad isn't good or evil he's just human doing what he thinks is right and will do anything to achieve and protect his goals/assets.
that is true yes! but his actions that he thinks are justified could be argued to be villainess
@@AttackonTiago Like can you give some examples which makes people think that he is a villain

thats a great point
Of course, there’s also a lesson in knowing when to let go.
His reasons were good, but as Aladdin said, everyone must have free will

I think Alibaba and Hakuryu are the underrated gems of Magi.
thats a fair assessment
Alibaba is the main protag lol
@@isthislunarAlibaba isn’t the main protagonist the main protagonist is Aladdin.

ah, i apologize
I haven’t watched this but this vid makes this character seem nice , nice work as always
thank you! and yea hes badass
Sinbad is kinda what the Prince of Persia could be with access to godlike power.
Life is a matter of perspective
Sinbad the only final villain good enough to get his own spinoff
I feel like after he became a slave and was freed he started to changed
He is a god like literally the top god....read manga.
i read the manga, and hes insane :) just didnt wanna spoil to everyone how powerful he gets
where can i read?
Alternate Title: The time where Jotaro (Daisuke Ono/Matthew Mercer) became an Arabian King.
ooo true though! LOL
Yep. This isn't the only time both Ono and Mercer shared the spotlight, both in Japanese and English as they did so like five times.
good shi man, although i haven't watched the show, your summary and logic made complete sense
thank you!
Great Analysis man!
thank you!
Fire as always
thank you. i appreciate that coming from the STUD from highschool
Technically he captured eight the the djinn of that dungeon said he was already too strong and refused to make a contract with him
insane, hes too OP lol
It was the 7th djinn he captured that made the contract with him
Always love the intros
:) thank you
Good as always ❤️🔥
thank you!
I'm of the belief that only the intention matters not the means by which you attain it
interesting
That depends on how good the intention is compared to the means
Another banger of a video 🔥
:)
What’s a hero or a villain to a GOD?
Children with woodsticks.
He went sasuke in the end...trying to create a new world 😂😂😂😂
haha
Atleast he was nearly successful in what he tried to achieve.
He had nearly achieved what villains like madara or sasuke weren't able to do.
anyone know where i can read magi colored if there is been holding off on reading the manga
why did the world bring life to sinbad if it was just going to reincarnate king Solomon
So is Solomon good or evil because he seems very similar to Sinbad in wanting peace I mean
@@cieltempest8794 yea thats a tough one, hes very similar to sinbad in that regard
cool 🔥🔥
yes :)
please tell me about the next season
sadly idk if we're getting a next season

Yeah
Sinbad=hero ❤️👑
Wrong....sindbad is god ( the god) literally. Read manga.
