Everyone doing these comparisons on sound, it’s really a comparison of the feel, the attention to detail more than sound, you can make a brick sound good with enough pedals and pre- amp

las paul has clearer and balanced tone / sound and epi has wicked low tone and tricky mids imho beautiful guitars
