Damn, Just found this video now. But I have already done the J swap into the 4th gen ! Ended up using a mix of EGK and BBK mounts with a custom rear bracket. Cool to see Hasport get onto the game with the J in the Lude.
@jonmotes5406 I can't confirm for sure, maybe they can, but I could probably say you'd have a much easier time making the BB points work than going the route I did with the EG/BB mix.

I think you’d have a limited amount of sales in these swap mounts but I love the engineering that gos into the work you guys do 🔥💯. I want to swap a Tsx with something you don’t see everyday like that k20c1 or something along those lines. Good stuff guys 🫡🔥

I have a 94 SI I'm slowly restoring...The current/original H23A1 is sitting at 246k. Still feels pretty strong, but I'm beginning to look at my options. What would you all recommend? K20? 24? J? Everyday drivability, but rejuvenated spirit so to speak lol. Not a drag or circuit car. Car and myself are in TN, so smog/etc. isn''t an issue. This is so awesome to see work being done on the BB...I've had one of these cars (4G BB) of some kind since 2001...Love them so much. Wish they would return the name/model, but I know it's extremely doubtful. Thank you for the work and info!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed the prelude content being the owner of a 4th gen using your Og kit since 2016 👌 However if I understand correctly there is no significant change to the k24a2 using the tsx transmission correct? The only major difference seems to be the transmission mount (3 bolt instead of 2). But the engine position remains the same, it doesnt go further back in the engine bay than the actual BBK1 kit right?
@@VTECAcademy this is def great news because ive been tearing axle boot, caused by the axle angle and the boot gate rubbing on themselves. Would you happed to know if I will need to reweld a new post mount (engine side mount)? Does it sit in the same location?
My ultimate goal is to put a k20c1 into my 5th gen prelude, owned the car for 10+ years now and I think it would be a great upgrade! Does the ground clearance really seem like a big issue? i don’t generally have my cars that low anymore.
Ordered mounts in December 3 months later they refunded me. They said that they would be making them later…I guess this is what they had in mind I hope these will be made for purchase soon. I really want to finish up my k24 swap so I don’t have to fabricate my own mounts and brackets and to finally drive my car again! Looking forward to the drop.
Love the prelude content I also have one and there’s not much good info on this stuff it would be nice to know how and what can be deleted or cleaned up on the fire wall

Inquiered hasport about the options to use a rsx type s as a transplant car and they told me the only mount kit available is for the k24/accord trans . The end game for me is a k24/k20 hybrid engine but would like to use my rsx type s trans .
It is a new kit, the sale guy may not have been aware yet. When you order it just select the RSX transmission and that will get you the BB1K2 mount kit which works with your transmission

Definitely more than a half inch dent is needed in the cross member…. Had to cut a large chunk out of mine and plate it and its still extremely close but in is in i guess lol

Doing a k24 swap in a 4th gen with a rsx harness and ecu with a universal jumper harness. My question is what plugs wire up to the engine bay fuse box? And do I need to run both the rsx ecu and the prelude ecu? Any help would be appreciated.

It moves everything back towards the firewall for better axle angle.

No. The differential housing is the same size regardless of the transmission. Except of course the even larger AWD diff.

Just run the RSX ECU. There are wires on the shock towers the need to be connected to. I don't have that info handy.

its been done using a civic eg or ek kit from Hasport I think. A guy in Canada did it. There's a dyno pull of the car somewhere on youtube
