Great Video! This „Las Vegas“ is a brothel, like many other buildings there. I live near Frankfurt and to be honest, this city is so fucked up. In March I’m doing a roadtrip from San Francisco to LA and Las Vegas. I'm curious to see if it's much worse there. We are currently having more and more problems with fentanyl here in Frankfurt too.
I was so happy to hear from the start that you were going to fly business class. You deserve it dude and I hope that you will keep on flying with style for the rest of your life & also with Gladys too of course🙏🥳. Good thing you brought your jacket for our cold Europe and really hope that you got warmer weather in Egypt. Atleast I think you are supposed to go to Thailand at the end of this month so youll be warm there again working up the sweat 🤣. All the best, stay safe, stay smiling and thanks for this video. I appriciate you taking us with you ❤️🙌
I was there too in summer. I was visiting a friend in Frankfurt and stepped out of the train station and walked through the first street I saw. It was the red light district. Hookers asked me if I wanna come into their houses and people tried to sell me stuff. I walked away quickly. The coldest time in Germany is January and in recent years the cold weather sometimes lasts until May. It's really annoying. In case you ever visit Frankfurt again, take the underground train to the hauptwache. It is basically the city center with all the bigger stores and you could also take a 40 minute train drive to Wiesbaden which is known as the "Nice of the north". Wiesbaden has a lot of hot springs and old roman monuments from 2000 years ago.
Me who is personally fed up with Germany 😂 really appreciates someone to talk so nicely about it. Lifted up my mood for awhile, thanks Chris. Greetings from Essen! 🇩🇪
I enjoyed the video 👍🏽 This is not the City Center, this is the Red Light & Party District in Frankfurt. The clubs & Bars are actually pretty cool, but you have to know your way around. The city Center is about 15min walking distance from there, it‘s called ZEIL and the old town called RÖMER 🙌🏽
Good honest well presented video. Thanks for reviewing the streets we all wonder about. I'll be headed to Frankfurt later this year and this video helped me understand the area around the Frankfurt HauptBanhof. (Viertel)
I am being completely honest when I say your video helped me out so much. I am planning a trip to Frankfurt in a few months and I was going to book one of the cheap hotels on this street. I read in reviews that the area is quote "not the best", but they did not give any details. From your video I know I should spend slightly more and go a few blocks out.
Don't go somewhere that's even remotely close to tgis area. It's absolutely horrible at times I heard and the police isn't even doing anything because it's too much for them
Fr I luckily never went there but 2 of my friends were walking through side streets and they were scared the whole time because of the amount of junkies and creepy people. I never go outside of the hbf when I'm in FFM, the beggars and cracked out people trying to snatch your stuff and birds shitting on you from the ceiling are already enough 😂I hate this city I don't get why a lot of people from my school moved there someone even went to offenbach lol
One of the things I like in you is that you can be in the worst place in the world and have the time of your life. ( Not suggesting anything about Germany, Germany is fine, only refering to that infamous street). Keep on the positive thinking and thanks for uploading! ❤😊
Hi Chris! A few years ago I flew from Ontario California to Denver Colorado during the winter, and when I got to Denver International Airport, I noticed a lot of homeless people sitting inside the terminals trying to stay warm. The homeless people were all pretending to be passengers waiting for their flights but you could tell they weren't really passengers by their old and damaged luggage and by the way they were dressed. Airport security knew they were homeless but did nothing to remove them.
@@риня_ржевская I was just stating an observation. I wasn’t asking for them to be removed. It was below freezing outside and no one should be sleeping outside.
Hey you bought back memories I was station in Germany back in the late 70s I remember red light district in Frankfurt Same train station not much changed maybe some new buildings I've noticed in your video I had a great time there at the red light district that's been over 40s years for me thanks for sharing 👍 😀
Seizures all day which result in loss of consciousness. Started after a spinal surgery. Seemingly lost in the US healthcare system. Thank you for the prayers
From the middle of January to the beginning of February would typically be the coldest. I am planning a trip with my wife and 2-year old daughter just after Christmas. We are planning to stay in Ostend.
That's my hometown. Love Ffm 😍 it's normal to us, it was even way worse than that in the 80s and early 90s. The Taunusanlage, close to the Opera was a sad place, people where dying everyday 😔 But you not gonna see one tent out there, like skid row. The best thing on Europe is, you can go everyday in another country by car or by train for less money. Visit Poland!!!!
I'm a Jamaican living in Canada and have been going to Germany for over 35 yrs and never had a problem with Immigration in Frankfurt Airport.. Very nice people....
I have been many times to Germany , Never seen the street you showed me. Thank you. Enjoy your trip . I will visit Munich in April weather will be much better. Good luck. Greetings from Cairns Australia.
February should be the coldest month of the year but I am surprised its raining coz it used to snow tonnes from late december onwares. Wow, it has changed.
Haha, I went to Amsterdam in the APRIL of 2022 and it was FREEZING. We happened to go during a cold wave, and the wind-chill temperature was around 0C/32F (maybe even lower). It snowed in Amsterdam the day before so the flight also had to divert to Rotterdam to avoid circling and running out of fuel (there was like one open runway). We did not expect it was going to be so cold and didn't pack that many clothes. Then a few weeks ago we visited Europe again in winter, except this time it was well above average temps. So this time we brought too much clothes! 🫠
Bro there use to be over 200,000 solidiers would hit that redlight on the weekends back in the 90's ...they closed alot of it down surprise to see the place after 30 years..

I used to travel to Frankfurt for tradeshows, I hadn't been for a number of years but went again last year. I stayed at a hotel in that same district, full of drug addicts and the homeless.
