My favorite Brotha Lynch song, sampling my favorite Frederic Chopin prelude. You really did him justice on this track. I think he would have loved this. I'm sure he would be honored to know that a lyrical genius in modern times was able to express the emotions in his piano playing, but with a poem that tells a real life story about coming up in life from nothing, prevailing against poverty and oppression. Music that sounds tragic, can also sound uplifting and inspirational at the same time, and I think you really proved that here, and got across the emotions he was also trying to project with his piano arrangement, but with your lyrics about something both tragic and triumphant. Like Chopin, you are a legend and will live on for eternity because of your gift to the world. Thanks for all of your music.
This song proves lynch has been carrying the entire Westcoast since 2pac passed. Best lynch album, one of the best lynch songs and hip hop songs ever. Wescoast for life! Much love from colorado!!
Maybe try remembering where you came from when you’re making decisions that put people through the same struggle. Wanna hear a story about how evil Lynch actually is and how personally ruined my life 10 years ago and still going? Used to love Lynch like a legend and then he literally ruined my life by choice. Refused to perform for a sold out crowd of possibly his most diehard fans in the world in Pueblo, CO. Contracted cost was $4500 plus travel, hotel, food, and alcohol. Over $4000 was there, but a couple hundo and lack of “adequate” stage lighting had him refuse to even show up which is ironic because it was only lacking because he didn’t even come for the pre-show VIP meet and greet people paid $50 extra for each for. Stayed at the hotel I paid for and talked shit. Two people died that night as a result of the chaos that ensued. Over a dozen pistols were confiscated from the crowd when police arrived en masse. I spent my life savings up to that point on that show because I loved Lynch since I was 14. And then I meet my hero and he doesn’t say a word, just gives me a dirty look. And then the next day refuses to appear after months of work and years of saving. It was my first show as a promoter. I couldn’t afford professional stage lighting but I seriously believed he would perform at our packed-out, overcrowded, oversold, hyped up, excitedly anticipated show, especially considering his tour was named the “F*** Da Industry Tour.” My partner was kidnapped and almost murdered execution style under the bridge on the East Side because C-Lim (his tour manager that year) told the crowd to blame the promoters and not the tour. But every damn dollar i made that night went directly to his hands and when the crowd rioted asking for refunds, he said “talk to the promoters.” Like shiiii bruh, you have my student loans for the semester, three years of savings, and my life dream in your pocket and yall ran with it. And then sued my brand new promotion company for 10x the contracted cost ($4500 so $45.000). Not only that, but the following day, Lynch posted to all his tens of thousands of instagram followers, “if yall have a problem with how the show went last night, contact (mine and my partners full names, home addresses, phone numbers, and emails)” knowing we had multiple death threats. Resulted in a drive by on my house that almost killed my 2 year old son and my mother in law. Had to move. Had to change my number. My local music scene was mad at us and pushed us out of the business. I went bankrupt, in massive debt, ended up addicted and hopeless, lost my dream, lost my business I built through hard work from nothing, and eventually lost my children and wife over it all. Attempted to kill myself more than a few times and even when I wasn’t trying, I definitely also wasn’t trying to be careful with the amount of heroin I was shooting up at one time. 10 years later and I’m finally 4 years clean but still depressed af and addicted to gambling in a debilitating way. I’ve never recovered from all of that. Never meet your heroes 💯 I don’t think he even knows how impactful his decision was on my life that night and the lives of my children and their mother. For the rest of our lives so far. Right now, I’m fighting in court to be able to speak to or visit my children because their mom hates me so much for everything we went through that she won’t let me contact them. I’m broken. My life was grenaded and Lynch pulled the pin. I take full accountability for not being as prepared or on point as I should’ve been but bro… I was 21, I came from poverty, and I managed to pay 90% of the total cost and would’ve had the rest had he just APPEARED. I managed to get a venue booked, a sound guy, equipment, 6 opening local artists, paid security and bartenders, sold every regular and ViP ticket (unfortunately I had partners I couldn’t trust), marketed/promoted for 5 months relentlessly, lost many nights of sleep preparing for it, paid 3.5k cash upfront out of pocket that took me 3 years to save, almost died, watched people die, lost everything::: I think I paid enough for him to perform for a building full of devoted fans. It was traumatic night for all of us.:: me, my partner, his gf, my wife, dozens of other people. My wife was in the drivers seat and was frozen in fear with our vehicle surrounded by dozens of enraged fans, many with pistols pointed at us, smashing our windows out with bricks and shaking the car, pulling my partner out the window to kidnap and kill him, with my ONE last security guy I hired actively fighting rocks and pistols out of peoples hands yelling “drive!” She was scared to run someone over or get shot. Finally she drove and we were followed around Pueblo for an hour until we ran out of gas and thankfully broke down in front of the sheriffs dept. Had to get a police escort back to the venue just to get our stuff and the entire crowd was laying on their bellies in the parking lot cuffed or zip tied. The speakers were broken, his bus was fucked up, people were hurt or dead or getting arrested, the bar was trashed, merch/drinks were looted, shots were fired. And everyone had to experience it EXCEPT for Lynch, who was safely four blocks away in the 4 star hotel room I paid for with his bottles of henny I paid for and his 4k dollars I handed over. And then after it was all said and done he chooses to put my family’s lives in danger.. And THEN chooses to take even more of my money until he had every possible cent I could come up with and I had a 45k debt. Naw man. Lynch is more evil than his lyrics claim him to be 💯

Been a hard road
Still walking this walk you know
From over there to over here (still smokin')
And its nuthin'..
[Verse 1]
I went from selling dope to selling weed and CD's
And doing little dirt for my BG's for green leaves
I went from knee-deep, from stateline to stateline
I had to make mine so I wouldn't have to take mine
I went from playtime to robbin in the nighttime
I went from daytime to mobbin on the bayline
to Alcatraz it was taking chunks outta my ass still I
I went from empty to a full tank of gass
I went from filty to clean when my momma passed
I changed and went from doing good things to drama fast it's strange
I went from pain to gain I went from game to game
I went from grain to grain, and went from the past
to the present I went from artist to the president
CEO Siccmade musicc is my residence
I went from broke to fiendin' for dead presidents
I went from no hope to king its all evident
So everybody rise with me
Realise with me
You don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to Sicx when I spit this rhyme
Sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
I'm all up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
[Verse 2]
I went from hospitals to funerals to graveyards
From Hell's Kitchen like Mel Gibson in Braveheart
I went from they yard to my yard
I went from having light scars to bulletwounds tight cars and silverspoons
I went from the southside to the north to the eastside
I let the meat fry, stress from eating pork
I went from me ride to I ride
I went from livin it up to writing notes that talk suicide do or die
It's been a hard road I went from slamming cardoors to 6-4's to 2004's
I went from blued out in clothes to never booed out at shows
Who doubt the foe led toast
I went from homies to enemies I went from gold weed to indonese
I couldn't stop needing
I went through every season I went through to every reason for nothing
Plenty reasons to be touching the remedies
So everybody rise with me
Realise with me
You don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to Q-ball when I spit this rhyme
Sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
I'm all up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
I went from next to nothing to pressing button and black keys
from 15 to 23 walking the streets
from OE to no weed I'm paranoid
They all tell me they love me, it's all null and void
I play with toys, you know, shots to big Zo
I went from 40 to 0 just to get hydro
I went from him to him thats how the story goes
Tearing from limb to limb touching the 44's
I went from Sac to Chicago just to promote
200 dollars in my pocket looking hella broke
Did the show and made 15 g's
and don't you know I smoked 15 bleezies
I went from I don't got enough its nuthin
I went to damn I got it rough, where's the luck at?
I went from hell and back I went from ballin in black to smelling up the
back alleys with Maui Wowee, I been telling you that
Everybody rise with me
And realise with me
That you don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to Big Dan when I spit this rhyme
Sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
and I'm all up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time (you know it)
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
So everybody rise with me
And realise with me
You don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to E-Mill when I spit this rhyme
Sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
and I'm all up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
So everybody rise with me
And realise with me
That you don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to X-Raided when I spit this rhyme
I'm sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
and I'm all up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
So everybody rise with me
And realise with me
That you don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to Jam Master Jay when I spit this rhyme
I'm sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
and I'm all upon the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
So everybody rise with me
Realise with me
That you don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to Royal D when I spit this rhyme
and I'm sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
All up in the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
One mo' time everybody
Rise with me
Realise with me
You don't know whats on my mind
Shots out to No Love when I spit this rhyme
I'm sloppy off the X when I writ this rhyme
and I'm all upon the cut when I hit this dime
Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time
(Tomorrow's gonna be different I swear this time)
