Silkworm farming opening opportunities for Kisumu farmers in the export market

- Newton Owino, a farmer in Kisumu rears mulberry silkworm at Mamboleo, Kisumu County for the export market in US and India. Working with 37 farmers, Mr Owino exports 1.2 tonnes of silkworm cocoon to the export market. He started the silkworm venture in May 2015.
