    Waheguru Ji Ki Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh 🙏🏼
    A question I had was; Yes, Guru Sahib Ji and Waheguru are one and the same - and in many parts of Sri Guru Granth Sahib is this stated “gur paramaesar ek hai” - and we must not differentiate between Waheguru and the Guru. They are one entity.
    But then why does Guru Gobind Singh Ji have the quote: “jae ham ko paramaesar ouchar hai | thae sabh narak kundd mehi par hai |
    mo ka dhaas thavan kaa jaano | yaa mai bhaedh n ranch pashaano | 32 |” from Bachitar Natak
    Translation:- “Those who call me God, will fall into the pit of hell.
    Regard me as a humble servant of the Lord and have no doubt about it.”
    Is this more to do with Guru Gobind Singh Ji stating that it is not his mere physical body that should be seen as Waheguru - and must not be taken as idolatry, but rather the Jot inside him? Ik Onkar shows us that this oneness pervades inside everyone - hence is Waheguru = The Guru = All of us? We are all therefore just one entity? Or is it important to maintain a distinction - that Waheguru is the infinite and supreme entity, and the Guru is our divine guide with us as seekers of the spiritual truth, whilst we have the divine essence within us.

      Vaheguru ji this is another common misunderstanding of guru sahib jis bani. There’s a brilliant video on the basics of sikhi Chanel explaining this jio . It’s by Bhai Sukhdeep Singh

      ‘Jae ham ko’ is the Guru speaking from the perspective of a regular person. If someone calls themselves God (i.e. engages in selfish and depraved activities) then they are bound for hell.
      The better translation is not ‘Those who call me God’ but rather ‘those who call themselves God’.
      You are correct in identifying the oneness between Waheguru, the Guru and everyone. Once you connect with the divine and realise the secrets of Waheguru (which is referenced many times in Shabad like Japji Sahib and Chaupai Sahib) then the light of Waheguru fills you and you become a Brahmgian. What makes the Gurus unique is that they were specifically sent during Kaljug as already enlightened beings rather than having to work and meditate towards it like everyone else. They were already reflections of Waheguru on Earth and they strive for everyone else to become part of that reflection too.

    We also need to explain the concept of God properly to Sikhs. "God" is from the Abrahamic religions, a being that is separate from the creation and that will judge you. The Sikhi concept of the Divine is quite different and is based in nonduality or oneness. This is basic and Sikhs don't even know this

    I love this, but remember that Guruji is abolishing hypocrisy within the religious. Guruji doesn’t need anyone to convert because there’s actually nothing to convert to, unless they are becoming Khalsa (Akaal purakhs army of the purified and sanctified) “Rehat pyaara mujhko Sikh pyaara nahi”
    anyone can actually learn from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji without needing to claim any religion (sikh= student) I haven’t found where Guruji created any religious doctrine other than the rehat for Khalsa. Guru Granth Sahib Ji seeks to have people of all religious doctrines remember Akaal (the one without density/without time) who can be accessed through the naam Waheguru(a resonance for all for yugs/ages) The naam Waheguru was given as a access point to the one creator force beyond density and time (akaaaal)
    Please let me know where I am wrong are where I’ve mis-understood.

    Very interesting, good points discussed. As the guy said, if loose Panjabi, we loose step by step everything by time.

    Its not british colonisation it is british elite colonisation. If you look at the lives of most brtsh folks during the imperialist period it was pretty grim. Did those folks colonise your mindsets in india? Nah...same goes for the other european elites... colonistion benefitted them not the plebs. Like2ise in india we had proxy elites who just pushed this colonialism .so lets be more accurate with who pushed qnd benefited ffom colonialism ...and it wasnt dave smith working in some hellhole northern textile mill

    • @vin00ify
      @vin00ify 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The British elites ran the whole "operation" but the average "Dave Smith" worked as a foot soldier for Britain on the ground and were paid handsomely for it.
      Yes, many traitorous Indians (about 10% of India's population) also had money poured into their pockets for assisting Britain in controlling the Indian population whilst the whole land was being robbed. The remaining 90% of Indians suffered under British rule.
      So it's better to think of a pyramid structure or hierarchy where white British elites were at the top, your average "Dave smith" Englishman foot soldier or worker was in the middle, but most of the Indian farmers and workers were right at the bottom and trodden on by everyone, including rich Indian families like the Nehru family.

      I’m glad you said it. I think we try to blame the British about everything lol!
      I know the extent to which the British empire changed our paradigm through colonialism and a lot of points mentioned in the podcast were valid however things like how they changed the dastaar isn’t as black and white like how a lot of people make it out.
      The Nok style Pagh for example was around during Sikh Raj particularly towards the latter half. You just see contemporary portraits of Hari Singh Nalwa and even Kanwar Nau Nihal Singh and that alone proves it.
      All the British empire did was standardise the Pagh style in their armies, introduced the fifty and then in the 20th century the style of Pagh the SGPC wear as well as many Sikhs in east Africa and UK could be seen as something they invented.
      However to say that the British empire banned the Dumalla and introduced Nok Style isn’t 100% accurate.
      Also the point you made about the average British person in UK is true to an extent as well. It was only the British elite and perhaps the city of London that got wealthy from it. East India company was a private corporation with shareholders. They were the ones that benefited the most.

    • @rajdeepsingh3159
      @rajdeepsingh3159 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@vin00ifyThis is also true as well. Also the guys behind the British east India company and the crown are still doing the same things around the world today. Families that are very powerful like the Rothchilds have a huge hand in Geopolitics because they control the monetary system.

    This is not a critique, you naujawans are doing great seva for the Panth, keep it up.
    However; we need more basic theology and rhetoric education; this will result in better parchar, better jawabs, better coherent narratives. And less single lines quotes to explain the whole of a Shabad/entire concepts and less reliance on anecdotal arguments.
    Where are the Nirmalas?! This Panthic aspect is supposed to be their duty.
