I attended the parenting course, it was really good. I’m from the same generation as Jagjit Singh and the presentation of his observations really resonated with me. Highly recommend it, especially if you’re a parent from Punjab raising your kids in the west.

Amazing content, would love a part 2. It would be really beneficial to upload the Sikh parenting course online with a PDF of booklet for sangat that resides in India. Vaheguru ji ka Khalsa, Vaheguru ji ki Fateh!

Found the bit about the history taught in the UK a bit odd, leading to identity issues in youth. British colonialism (east India co. onwards) is a relatively short period in the overall history of the UK. You look at the syllabus of any country that does history in schools and it will focus on their national history. Not trying to cover every group's history in that country at that time. Multigen households used explain 'your' history ..not relying on some external body, when folks moved around.
If you leave it to western education to explain our history very soon they'll twist it to make out our shaheeds were trans and arungzeb was a white male.
