    Thank you! I learn better from a person telling me things rather than reading, so this would have been super useful 2 years ago when I started getting into this world of synths and samplers! I didn’t understand the differences back then but you do a great job here introducing the concepts and the most popular samplers! ✨🎉

      You’re very welcome!! I’m the same exact way myself. I always catch myself texting a friend for their expertise rather than googling something 😊

      @@SlowHaste btw you mentioned the usb on the digitakt to import samples? But it is not a regular usb (for a flashdrive), do you need an adapter?

    • @SlowHaste

      @@newflanged_ sorry I missed this! I don’t think you can use a flash drive with the Digitakt, even with an adapter (it’s a usb type-b port on the device)

    I use samplers in a lot of my music. Love the Digitakt it’s so fast to work with and sounds so good! Particularly fond of my MPC One as my main sampler lately though it’s just super powerful and has so many amazing features. Cheers 🍻

      The MPC One is probably the sampler I get recommended most! It’s definitely high up on my list to try to get my hands on.

    I love samplers and they are the heart of electronic music. Finding the best one is challenging.

      @@SlowHaste I have an Octatrack that is fun as my sampler right now. I like to feed voice mails and anime clips and chop them up into beats.

    The SP-303 was my go-to. Got a 404SX thinking it would be an upgrade but it felt a lot different. Sold the 404. Got a 404-A...the pads have a delay... ugh!!! I have a Digitakt now so I have to learn this. Was also interested in the OP-1 but that price...whew!

      Quite the sampler journey! I’ve been wanting to try the SP line for a while now but the Digitakt currently has my heart.

      @@SlowHaste the SP 202 and the 303 are very nice for lo-fi and generally grittier, warmer sounds. 404 is basically for the effects.

    Quick question, are you able to plug in a bass guitar or a synth into the digitakt to record into the sequence?

    • @SlowHaste
      @SlowHaste  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t record audio directly into a particular step, but you can record an audio sample and then manually chop it up to put on the steps, or just put it on the downbeat to play the length of the pattern!
