I love this song but I hate how this song brings back memories. Weird I have found that people share life experiences on TH-cam videos. But this is making me do that. It's making me miss the girl who could have been the one. A bullet took her away along with four other friends. These feelings I can connect to. This song reminds me of the year I spent in the US as an exchange student. I was really interested in a guy who turned out to be an asshole, but that is not really important. The fact is that I never really knew him, but I felt the closest thing to what I think love is. Don't get me wrong, that could've also been some abstract feeling since we were basically strangers, but in some way an incredibly intense and concrete feeling . It was an obsession, yet also something that opened up my heart to the world and made me more sensitive to any kind of beauty and pain. I really felt full of my life, even though I was also constantly anxious and vulnerable. I cannot explain how strong it was: like some unique dreams you're only able to dream at night, dreams so grand that your memory is not able to remember them, but forever keeps their sweet and painful taste. Or else, it's like when you listen to a song that really touches you, and you're able to feel- for one moment- what it would feel like to be completely overwhelmed by the love for someone. I haven't almost spoken to him since I left the us, and I probably wouldn't if I met him. Even before leaving I spent some time with I guy really liked and mostly forgot about him. And despite of that, despite the fact that it's been almost a year, i still dream about him sometimes. I think it's not really about him, it's more about the way I desired him, the way I was so sure I needed him. So, even though things went bad and I've been sad, I'm deeply glad I've experienced something so fine, so intense and so beautiful. My life has been rich thanks to that.
There's a guy out there right now looking for someone exactly like you to share that beautiful experience with forever. ❤
